Ja, es ist wirklich schon so lange her, dass wir das erste Mal "die Bühnen dieser Welt" betreten haben. Die erste Veröffentlichung war noch nicht wirklich durchgedrungen und langsam fingen Leute an, sich sogar für unsere Musik zu interessieren.

Der Drang musikalisch Gefühle auszudrücken, Gedanken durch Melodien zu transportieren und so viele Menschen wie möglich glücklich zu machen, war die treibende Kraft unseres Schaffens.

Symbiont-music war wie geschaffen, diesem Drang ein Ventil zu geben. Eine Gruppe von idealistischen Visionären, welche es gekonnt verstanden, Athmosphären zu erschaffen und Menschen dort abzuholen, wo sie standen.

Aus den Kinderschuhen wurden ausgewachsene Auftritte und mittlerweile haben wir schon den einen oder anderen Kontinent musikalisch überquert.

Alles in allem ist das anfängliche Gefühl immer noch da: gewachsen, transformiert, weiterentwickelt und stets rückbesinnt. Wir schauen mit Elan in die Zukunft und wollen ganz besonders den Menschen danken, die uns unterstützt, begleitet, beklatscht und betanzt haben.

Es war uns immer ein Fest für euch und mit euch musiziert zu haben und wir haben noch einiges vor.

Als kleines "Dankeschön" haben wir uns ein All-time-favourite geschnappt und es endlich mal fertig produziert, den ihr euch einfach bei Soundcloud runterladen könnt.

Attic Edits is a three-track EP of light-hearted summer delights from Moiety & Manik. These two producers are no strangers, they’re kinfolk - part of the INI family. Both producers have appeared on our ‘De Gulden Snede’ Series and several other releases. In the heat of the summer between DJing and the countless demands of life, the duo found the time to collaborate and dusted of an old Johny Guitar Watson record. From there on several sessions took place forming the Attic Edits.

Floating like an exploding bomb into the liquid universe of a forgotten Kingdom, using music as a weapon to heal and to protect from the enemies of underworld. It’s like looking for something that's precious and unique. These forbidden words will seduce you with beauty and destroy you with venom! Once they will be a part of your body it will never let it go. They're furious, mysterious and dirty as the gates of the “Rico Mambo” Kingdom. This is where the sun always shines, sometimes cold like the nights in the Mexican desert and sometimes spicy like a chili pepper, ready to set dancefloors on fire while the spaceship is still traveling to the speed of light! Apart from a spell that haunted his entire life MiRET's dreams were pretty “normal”. Beautiful women, exotic places, Margaritas by the sea, surfing in hyper-space, beating his enemies in the battlefield....whatever a restless spirit like his can ever imagine.

A gloriously warm disco-tinged gem, ‘Bringing Me Over’ bares all the hallmarks of a Samosa record. Alongside some clever samples and an alluring male vocal, its gorgeous percussion and sweaty hues mark it out as a track that already has us yearning for summer. Amsterdam dwelling editor par excellence Em Vee took the solo reigns on the inaugural Lumberjacks In Hell - and truly excelled with a great reimagination of "Miss You". The second release on the label sees the German share duties with Spanish edit demon Rayko, with the Rare Wiri boss hogging the A Side. First up is an expert rearrangement of Candi Staton's cover of the Bee Gee's standard "Nights On Broadway" which strips the track of its orchestral leanings to focus on the groove! Following this is a meaty take on a classic, with Barbara Keith's cover of "All Along The Watchtower" reinforced with some bottom end bump. Em Vee spreads a special disco version of Alma Lee's late 70s Philly delight "Gimme Your Love" with an extended intro that fully displays his edit talents.
