The Breakbeat Junkie rose to fame in the early days of the Nu Funk Breakbeat mid tempo scene with a tonne of Funky Breaks tracks mostly released through the Goodgroove label. His tracks and remixes have graced other labels too such as Breakbeat Paradise Recordings and he secretly known to be part of the duo Second Hand Audio. This mix was a promo for Goodgroove Records for the year 2008.

Creator of numerous mixtapes and dozens of mashups.
Finalist and runner-up of the Red Bull 3Style DJ competition in 2018.
In 2024, he won the title of IDA Party Rocking Polish Champion and 2nd Runner-Up of the IDA World in the Partyrocking category.
In 2025, he was a finalist and won 3rd place in the DMC Poland Open category. In his multi-style sets, he combines classic sounds from the intersection of hip-hop, R&B, funk, drum & bass, and house.
Def Wave performs in some of the hottest clubs in Poland. He also presents his sets on radio stations. As a session and live DJ, he collaborates with hip-hop and pop artists.
He is a Technics brand ambassador and a member of DjCity and Beatsource.
