When Nadia Lengert is on the turntables, she’s not just spinning records - she’s spinning times and styles. Having started as a much-respected R’n’B/Hip-Hop DJane, she then discovered House and the creative potential of electronic music. It’s also this eclectic musical root you can hear in her DJ-sets, where she artisticly mixes electronic beats with acapellas and deep-fried music loops, covering the whole range from house, deephouse, classics to techy underground stompers. Together with her collegue, Nadia built up the group “Female Deejays” in 2005, whose skills and reputation made them one of the most successful Djane teams at that time, taking them to the most prestigious clubs in Europe and the Mediterranean Sea, including Spain, Turkey, Egypt and Tunisia. Now, returning from a baby-break, Nadia continues her own career, hosting a monthly show on Nightwax Radio and playing at selected premium-events and clubs, e.g. the Pacha club brand or René Lezard fashion after-show parties. After a bunch of co-productions and mix-compilations, Nadia’s first solo single “How long can I wait” is a top-notch example of her musical progression and has equally convinced DJ-colleagues and club crowds so far.
