This is a live recording that was aired on ViBE 99.7 FM in Las Vegas at 1-2 am on late Friday night (technically Sat AM) November 11, 2023. I used this opportunity to showcase a lot of my original productions and remixes that I've made since I started producing again during the pandemic, including some newer unreleased tracks.

Hey all! :)

Sometimes you start a song with one idea in mind and then the song veers off on a totally different direction and you just go with it instead of trying to wrangle it back in. Apparently I can't get rid of the baby raver in me because that's where this song went - energetic, silly and playful. Forget about the seriousness of not only music production but the world itself. Just let go and have fun!

The "banana head" vocal sample is from some random video that I saw on my IG feed one day. Turns out it's Marilyn Monroe from the movie "The Asphalt Jungle" (1950). So there you go.

I tried to rebrand 15 months ago and apparently the people loved me as Dr Dance, so scratch that, Dr Dance is BACK! Here's a quick booty bouncin mix I whipped up of all my favs right now. Without further delay, I’m proud to share with you my much requested set from Breakfast of Champion + It’s A New Day on New Year’s Day 2024!  I would have loved to share my live recording but due to a technical difficulty, I had to recreate the magic in a studio mix. It was amazing to kick off the new year with joy, love and hope rocking my set on the Heavy Petting Zoo stage to a sea of party people and all my friends up on stage. The highlight was debuting the track that DJ Denise and I produced at the top of my set. It’s always one of my favorite events of the year and this year was no exception. Live at Breakfast of Champions + It's A New Day 2024

DJ Denise is no stranger to electronic music. Since her meteoric rise in the San Francisco underground scene in the late '90s under the guise DJ D, Denise has played countless events from Miami to Hawaii and everywhere in between, spreading her unique energy and style. Her nonchalant fader flicks and mixer tricks combined with effortless beatmatching skills captivate her trainspotting fans.

Between 2006-2013, Denise launched her music production career while concurrently running her record label, Mizumo Music. The label released over 180 EPs from local & international artists while her original songs & remixes were released on labels based out of Europe, Australia, North & South America and South Africa.

In 2013, Denise stepped back from the label and production to focus on developing her career as a healthcare professional. But in 2020, just prior to the pandemic, Denise could no longer ignore her creative side and dusted off her studio computer. This decision proved to be fruitful as she grabbed the attention of DJ Dan's record label, InStereo Recordings. She now has multiple releases on this powerhouse with more in the pipeline and has ongoing collaborations with fellow InStereo artists The Incredible Melting Man (Canada), divaDanielle, Tone Abstract aka Tony Covarrubias, and Callback Funk.

When she's not DJing or tinkering in the studio, you can find Denise working as an ER Nurse in Oakland, California. It is evident that her mission in life is to save lives, both on and off the dance floor.
