Innovator, tastemaker and a true legend - DJ Dan’s sound combines the spirit of 70s Disco and Funk with driving House and Techno. Throughout his expansive career he has played some of the top clubs and events around the globe. With his label, In Stereo Recordings, marking almost 25 years, Dan continues to push boundaries and influence the future of dance music as well as inspire countless DJs and producers.  He's created numerous celebrated releases from 'Needle Damage' to his first Platinum record, remix of Orgy's 'Blue Monday' to Electroliners 'Loose Caboose' and his album 'DJ Dan & Friends' which hit #1 for Beatport album sales in the first week of release. Dan has also remixed for other world renowned talent including Depeche Mode, New Order, Lady Gaga, Duck Sauce, Black Eyed Peas, Janet Jackson, A Tribe Called Quest, Carl Cox, Trent Cantrelle and Fort Knox Five. 

Dan was recently featured in Between the Beats, a new documentary by Martin O'Brien, capturing the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area rave scene of the ‘90s. Featuring rare interviews and appearances from iconic artists and DJs who helped shape the scene, including DJ Dan, DJ Harvey, Doc Martin, Miguel Migs, DJ Garth, DJ Jeno, and more, the documentary showcases the prolific underground energy, highlighting the music and community that influenced many within the Bay Area and beyond. As the dance music world continues to evolve, Dan continues to be one of its strongest voices and most powerful influencers.

Hello all! Dancing Mandy and I are pleased to finally release our live recording of our tag team set at unSCruz 2025, Saturday night on the Luna Stage! Since we were slotted to play the closing set we decided to go ALL OUT and bang it out with some odes to the late night after hours that a lot of us grew up in. We decided to keep it spicy and play 1x1 (as in, we each played only 1 song at a time) which was a lot of fun because it gave us more opportunities to dig through our digital Rolex and find a suitable track to mix into the last one.

DJ DENISE - Live at Sonic Euphoria (Radiance, Oakland, September 2025)

DJ Denise is a veteran staple of the San Francisco electronic music community, having firmly planted her roots in 1998 under the guise DJ D. Her meteoric rise led her to performing across the country from Miami to Hawaii and everywhere in between. She is most known for her precise & effortless beatmatching skills combined with nonchalant fader flicks and mixer tricks.

Denise has performed at almost every venue in the San Francisco Bay Area and also many festivals. In 2013, Denise won the Discovery Project and performed at Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas. 

Between 2006-2013, Denise launched her music production career while concurrently running her record label, Mizumo Music. The label released over 180 EPs from local & international artists while her original songs & remixes were released on labels based out of Europe, Australia, North & South America and South Africa. Her music has been licensed to various compilations including UK powerhouse Ministry of Sound, LovEvolution (San Francisco's homage to the infamous Love Parade), as well as on DJ mix compilations by Simply Jeff and DJ Shortee. Most recently you can find Denise’s music on InStereo Recordings, DJ Dan’s record label.

When she's not DJing or tinkering in the studio, you can find Denise working as an ER Nurse in Oakland, California. It is evident that her mission in life is to save lives, both on and off the dance floor.
