Mikey is from a creative family who's musical lineage spreads far and wide. His education was formed in the working men’s clubs of the South West of England from the age of four, whilst watching and listening to bands, pub crooners and singers including his own family members. His great grandfather was a jazz musician, music teacher and composer, and his father is a accomplished drummer and singer, even his great grandfather was an accordion player who sang in the Welsh Mining Choir. 

After attending drama school and working as an actor and forming a successful dance company in London Mikey realized that the pull to write, release and perform his own music was a part of his DNA that he could no longer ignore so he made the big move from England to Spain in 2012 to fulfill this creative calling.

Mikey's debut EP 'Wild' was written in the solitude of the pine mountains of Ibiza over a period of two years with his pack of 5 dogs for company. His EP was penned whilst fighting hepatitis C and enduring a very tough treatment process. Mikey turned this situation around and used the time to create and get a positive out of a negative. 

WILD is autobiographical in its form exploring subjects other artists shy away from. He is a Wiltshire lad from the South West of England and his musical influences are trip hop, ska, blues, 80's electronica/synth & jazz.. He is now currently working on his first album and enjoying a healthy fun life with his dogs in ibiza !

Dr. Kucho!  was crowned by  DJ Magazine UK as “The Undisputed King of Spanish House Music” and, thanks to his vast, diverse, and ever-increasing portfolio, including releases on some of the most notable labels in the industry (Sony, Virgin, Defected, Pacha, Spinnn’ and Africanism to name but a few), has been received with open arms by discerning audiences across the globe.
During 2013 he is celebrating his 20-year career in the music industry, with more than 300 releases to his name, releasing his album "The Return Of The King" where he explores his melodic trance and progressive side. Nevertheless, he continues creating that kind of house tunes that made him well known. 

Dr. Kucho!’s most successful tracks are "Hale Bopp", "To Russia With Love", "La Tarde Se Ha Puesto Triste'", "Doing Better Without You","The Island Of Love", "Lies To Yourself" , "Can't Stop Playing", "Belmondo Rulez"… Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz, Armin van Buuren, Sander van Doorn and a huge part of the trance family, is supporting his new trance facet.

The Doctor is as strong as ever as he continues to prescribe his fans -  and music lovers the world over - dose after dose of his tried and tested medicine.
