Both Adore & Desire are tracks that were made during lockdown, which was a time filled with reflection as well as reminiscing over better times. These tracks are the product of that, songs that reminded me of the big moments on a dancefloor that connects us all. I see the tracks as an extension of each other, made to be enjoyed together.

Eric Lune is a Melbourne based producer with a passion for emotive dance music. In the short space of a few years, he has amassed an impressive string of releases on prestigious labels such as Guy Mantzur's Plattenbank, Sound Avenue, and Proton.
On remix duties, British legend Dave Seaman bring his unique take to Desire. From Creamfields to Glastonbury, the Arctic Circle to the Arabian Desert; Dave is walking proof of dance music's global ability to unify and excite. With mix compilations for the likes of Renaissance, Back To Mine, Radio 1 Essential Mix and Global Underground - Dave is a mainstay within global electronic music culture.
Australian producers GMJ & Matter have teamed up to assist with a remix for Eric Lune’s track Adore. With live performances under their belt at ADE, Rainbow Serpent Festival, a European tour and the creation of their own label ‘Meanwhile Records' - the acclaimed electronic artists work together collectively and as a duo.
The package that these this group of artists have put together is a strong release, fans of Progressive House will be in for a treat. Hernan Cattaneo liked them so much he played both the originals in his Urbana podcast 549 on November 14th.

Starting "Beyond the Future" in August 2020, Kamilo Sanclemente began a new chapter in his relationship with Proton Music. Provided with the perfect vehicle to showcase his original music plus remixes from specially selected artists, Volume 3 now opens with the driving energy of "Ashen Light" with its rolling bassline and relentless beat. Soft and sustained pads add counterweight while beautiful melodies and wobbly arp-lead glisten across the stereo spectrum and into the third movement. With it subtly darker vibe and immaculately grooved bassline, "Haumea" sparkles with its intricate percussive groove and syncopated glassy motifs. Adding complementary synthesised vocal phrases and textured pads to the fray creates a magical piece that opens up in the third movement. In collaboration with Giovanny Aparicio whom Sanclemente partnered with on Volume 2's "Innocense", "Azimut" sees an eighth note stab and reversed synth effects provide a glorious sonic collage that builds with melancholic chord sequences. An emotive bassline progression and shimmering arp phrase adds a touch of class at the breakdown, before the rhythmic foundation and melodic interplay evolves once again post-breakdown.

On remix duties, Proton welcomes back Lanvary for another powerful reworking. A veteran of releases dating back to an April 2017 remix of Matter, the twin-track "Venus" EP in December that year and "Everything You Feel" in October 2019 were notable highlights. Further highlighting production strengths, remixes from Andre Sobota, Hot TuneiK and Ormatie, are now joined by a dark and brooding rework of "Ashen Light" that bristles with analogue bassline power and driving rhythmic force. Meticulously reimagining elements from Lanvary's original, a twisted and delay-laden array of synth lines wend their way across the 7-minute offering with ease to create an atmospheric remix that is an imaginative interpretation of Sanclemente's work.

A regular across the clubs of his Córdoba home as well as a host of appearances in cities including Buenos Aries, Rosario and San Juan, Lucas Rossi also found himself playing at the "Music in the Desert" festival for three consecutive years. The Argentinean's production portfolio is no less impressive with music signed to Amulanga, Balkan Connection and Armen Miran's Hoomidaas. A single remix of Michael A's "Fantasy" in September 2020 marked an impressive Proton Music debut as Lucas Rossi now returns with a delicate blend of progressive and organic house elements that turns "Haumea" into a new and innovative remix. Retaining the fundamental melodic flavour of Sanclemente's original, a deep rhythmic framework is the perfect foundation for a luscious array of textures to blossom into a club-friendly track that is the perfect marriage of remix components and new and additional production material. The result is an immaculate new interpretation from the Lucas Rossi studio.

Through a sublime musical triptych and remixes from Lanvary and Lucas Rossi, Kamilo Sanclemente has hit the jackpot with Vol. 3 of "Beyond the Future".

As the world slowly emerges out of the darkness, a bright light radiates from the musical universe to reflect on those that opine it was "Just the Times". A new sonic construct positions itself with a clear and powerful message where the soothing melodic overtones of Daijan and Mango are harnessed by the emotive vocal phrasings of Ellae. A pulsing beat and spine-tingling chord progression combine with analogue warmth and comforting textured layers. With 'Gaia' we welcome Ätherisch for his long-awaited debut on ICONYC Noir. Aätherisch delivers a slice of warm, pulsating club vibes. The track kicks things off nicely with its melancholic moodiness shining through as we meander effortlessly through club inspired melodies, while the sultry bassline sits wonderfully on top, adding an extra layer of depth and class. On remix duty we are very excited to welcome Astral Base who also marks his debut on the label with a classy remix for the ages. The Russian producer who is known for his deep melodic progressive influenced sounds, keeps the ethereal theme of the original alive. It's all about the groove, cool house vibes and the deep driving beats that are working their magic around Astral Base's wonderfully arranged keys and the wonderful use of elements on offer. Astral Base once again has reminded us with his classy rework why we are so fond of him.

Next up we welcome Evegrem to the label with a gem of a remix. His purely deep progressive rework grabs you from the word go. Interspersing filtered stabs and a stunning groove which beautifully leads into a drop full of tension and excitement are the name of the game. The understated yet driving bassline powers the groove along, as Evegrem keeps the energy up, allowing the driving melodic house feel to shine thru over the many layers and textures to create a beautiful soundscape to round off this classy underground crowd pleaser.

With 'Gaia' Ätherisch really shows that there're no boundaries, as this beautiful gem guides you to a full-on club laden, melodic hug of a release that will cause many smiles induced moments!
