The Therapy: Balearic Sessions

This show came about over last summer when I was playing at Café Mambo in Ibiza. I was predominately playing the day shift up to the sunset session which gave me a chance to prescribe an eclectic mix of feelgood Balearic soulful beats, disco, downtempo, groove, slow jams, soul, neo-soul, funk, acid jazz, rnb and one or two reggae tracks along the way. So here we are, this is The Therapy.

With 25 years experience Doctor Feelgood takes you on a journey when he prescribes a healthy dose of all things House, Disco, Indie-Dance, Nu-Disco vibes and anything in-between.

He lives in Ibiza and holds an early and late season residency for the very fashionable Mint Lounge and Summer residencies at Tanit Beach, The Beach Star, Savannah and Café Mambo. The Doctor is a frequent flyer, flying back and forth to the UK for gigs. He is part of the amazing DJ team at Vision Talent and plays at the Absolute 80s Radio, Bootleg Balls, Disco Inferno, 90s Reloaded & Ibiza Legends weekenders at Butlins where he hosts and DJs at many of the venues stages. He's recently played in Osaka & Tokyo in Japan, Jeddah in Saudi Arabia and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

He is versatile and professional who has warmed up for top acts such as Alexander O'Neal, Leee John (Imagination), The Sugar Hill Gang, Snap!, Baby D, Tony Hadley, Hue & Cry, Go West and Aswad to name a few and top DJ talent in Claptone, Danny Howard, Melvo Baptist, Mark Fanciulli, Jellybean Benitez, David Penn, Danny Rampling, Artful Dodger, Alex P, Jazzie B, DJ Pippi, Mark Knight, Jeremy Healy & Joris Voorn. 

He regularly produces content on releases for Mastermix DJ (Europes leading music provider to professional DJs) and has recently put pen to paper for Pro Mobile magazine.

He is also on the radio! Tune into his weekly syndicated radio show 'The Surgery' which has an estimated listener reach of over 3 million a month and airs on 39 stations across 18 countries and features guest mixes from world renowned DJs & producers.

Inspired by and named after the American Blues and R&B musician William “Willie” Lee Perryman (AKA Dr. Feelgood) and the 1967 hit "Dr. Feelgood" (Love Is A Serious Business) by Aretha Franklin.
