Burning Man 2024 - Thurs. 2:30am @ Soundgarden
Wow - this was a really special night. So many incredible dancers beautifully and enthusiastically expressing to my set. Behold 2 hours of unplanned and spontaneously DJ'd deep melodic beauty, uplifting global vibes and transcendent joy.  

As an exploration of world music this house mix spans many continents and cultures, one whose coda ultimately concludes with two remixes that sum up the collective heartspace Thursday night/Morning at Burning Man. 

Massive thanks to Mark Duncan and crew at Soundgarden (2:00/Gobsmack) for creating an exemplary space for music and the movement community.

Wednesday night at burning man had the privilege to play at a sound interactive art piece in deep playa.  You just had to be there.

It was a great honor to play on the legendary Maxa art car at the burn this year.  Thank you to my friend Neto for his trust in me and for the opportunity to kick off the night on the sexiest art car on playa. My big set riding the big OT sound system for '24 was Monday night, prime time before Marten Hørger. Playing out of our new booth re-design on it's maiden voyage was a night for big, funky, infectious bass face tracks with some other dips into acid tinged house and techno that I knew would would sound soooo good on that system in that setting. It was magic. 

I had so many tracks I wanted to play I made my way through like 25 tracks in 75 minutes.  Also entertained myself by dropping some tracks by some of our guests later in the week like Mau P & Max Styler. Thanks to some of my producer/DJ homies who stoked me on some unreleased music. Hope you enjoy this steady rockin' set.

Just magical!  The sunset ride Monday night exceeded all my expectations on the Whomp Wagon... starting from camp and ending up in inner playa with a pide piper style line of bikes in tow!!!  Appreciate if you follow me here as well 😉

The crowd and art cars around us continued to grow and vibes were off the charts.  What a special experience!!!  Extreme gratitutde goes to the Whomp family who made the crisp powerful sound happen and especially to Adil - love you brother!!

Wet Woody Wednesday has been a Camp Touch This tradition at Burning Man for well over a decade. It’s an afternoon party where our camp and our larger Truckee/Tahoe community come together to celebrate a multitude of things — the joys of being together on the Playa; the friendships and love that has endured and grown over the course of the years; and simply, the joy of being alive. 

This year’s Wet Woody party was a banger. After festive hour long sets by Narniqua and High Vibe, RAZL and I did a B2B set of remixed classics spanning the 60’s into the 00’s which sent the crowd into something approaching a frenzy. You can tell by the photos on the cover art how much fun we were having playing together and playing for our people. There is always magic to be experienced at Burning Man—this year, some of that magic was at Camp Touch This for the Wet Woody party.
