In this AfroTech rework, I kept the legendary vocal and built a fresh groove around it, blending hypnotic percussion and Afro House textures — bringing modern energy while honoring the timeless spirit of the classic.

That's what I thought when Flight Facilities told me of there plan to make a months worth of mix tapes, spanning 4 decades, as well as incorporating sound bites of global events of each year sprinkled effortlessly (though no doubt painstakingly) throughout the mixes!

What can i do to help, I said!
Make an edit for us they said!

So I did!
Knowing I'd be up against the antipodean Edit Maestro that is Rocco Raimundo.
I thought I'd try and throw some grunt into what for me was a classic tune from Bowie's Back catalogue and serious jam in it's original format.
