A multi-talented figure in the global house landscape, Amsterdam’s M-High has emerged from his ‘one to watch’ tips from a long list of key players in the industry. His growing sound has seen the Dutchman take in a wider range of influences from minimal through to electro, leading to releases on LOCUS, You&Me, and Djebali, amongst others. Following his heavily requested anthem ‘Devil’, the young talent stands out again as he makes his Hot Creations debut with a trip through futuristic basslines and silky, smooth house rhythms across his four-tracker, ‘Search 4 Pleasure’.

I recall discovering countless tracks with the iconic palm tree artwork when I first started with music. It’s thrilling to see my own name alongside that same palm tree almost a decade later—a

Up first, ‘Taste It’ merges acidic tones and sci-fi grooves that playfully dance over flickering stabs and lush, soulful vocals. Next, 'This ‘N That’ delivers thudding kicks and swirling sirens that lock you into its relentless breakbeat groove, while ‘Hello You’ harnesses an infectious bassline with assertive percussion and electro-tinged melodies. To close, ‘Search 4 Pleasure’ continues to bring the energy as sparking synths and robotic vocals go to work to shape up the EP in style.

Having brought us his Ladies Night EP back in March alongside partner in crime Bas Roos; Dutchman Chris Stussy returns to the fold. This time flying solo on his Nightdriver EP.
Steering away from the sample-stacked party peakers of his previous outing, Stussy delivers a more subtle and refined four track selection that opens with the shuffle and smooth chords of 'Nightdriver'.
The warm bass and glistening keys of 'Crate Diggin'' takes up the beat baton, before 'One Way' ups the ante with its insistent and irresistible groove. Finally Chris caps this impressive outing with the disco infused, smooth flow of 'Lonely'.

Fresh from steering us to the dancefloor with his ’Nightdriver’ EP on Robsoul – and a remarkable showcase on
Djebali earlier this month – Leiden craftsman Chris Stussy returns to Phil Weeks’ pedigree house imprint with
four more prime cuts of uncut house gold.
“Boogie Trippin” sums up the experience consummately as hip-flared jacks are wrapped with shimmering
touches and subtle filtered chords sweeps back and forth in the background. It’s backed up by three more
groove delights; “Flow Distinction” is shuffled and introspective but warm, gradually uplifting and laced with a
smoky alluring vocal, “Next To You” is a mid-evening slinky-piece with shiny percussive elements slithering over
the low-passed groove that gently opens out into a divine breakdown while “Selfless State” is a down home
peaktimer that flickers between lean jacks and a blazed disco break. Watch out of that swooping soul vocal as
it croons in overhead… Powerful stuff.
A firm face on the Robsoul roster now, Stussy’s getting hotter with every record. Don’t sleep.
