KILLAGROOVE is a musical project which was created in Torino (Italy) in 2011 by Alessandro Matta and Diego Trigilia. Their productions are based on Techno, House & Electronics.
In 2012 they win a contest in Italy for Piemontegroove "Young Talents". In November of the same year, they play for big event of #C2C12 - ClubToClub2012.
At the beginning of 2013 they land as Killagroove on Beatport with our own songs and they start to collaborate with Gianfranco Galleri as VJ, so now, their exibitions are more complete and captivating.
From August 2013 they are resident DJ at Camping Bar Torino with our event called "Electro Invaders".
In August 2014 they play for the Ariano Folk Festival 2014 #AFF14 Sonazone.
Since September 2014 they restart the season at Camping Bar with their event "Electro Invaders 2.0”
At the end of 2014 they play for Club To Club #C2C14 at the railway station Lingotto, with a DJ set dedicated to public transit for the festival and on December 31 they are guests of the evening MOOoW! Winter mooovement at the Coconut Club in Ariano Irpino (AV) with a Live set.
In January resume play at Camp Bar in Turin. During the year they play for different events and different locals in and around Turin.
In 2015 they meet Andreas Gunman, who through his label (Shaker Plates Records), they produce an EP titled "Hello World!". Thanks to Andreas and Andree Wischnewski on 29 September Killagroove play Live set in Berlin at the House of Weekend. While in October 2, 2015 for Tanz! event they play Live set in Göttingen at JT Keller.
In the 2016 they coming back in Germany for another Tour for the release of Outsider Album under Shaker Plates Records.
They play at BT22 in Greifswald on 14 may. Next they move in Kassel at 21 may and play at ARM club. The next day they go live on ᵏˢURBAN ©Freies Radio Kassel (105.8MHz) and in the night they rock in Herborn at Hessentag Underground Open Air.
The last tour date on 28 may they play for the event 20 JAHRE GROOVY at JT in Göttingen.
On 29 October 2016 they play for the birthday of the 17 years of Toxic Family in Frankfurt at Tanzhaus West
In the 2017 they play for the Lovermut Festival in Tarragona Spain on 3 June and for the Stadt Land Bass Afterparty in Frankfurt on 12 August.

Sam Gregory has been living through music for as long as he has been breathing. Being surrounded by the endless rhythms and melodies found in nature is a constant inspiration, driving him to veer away from current trends in sound and toward his own style of resilient, synthetic and acoustic aural exploits.

Beginning with 5 years of classical piano training, he marched through a veritable array of other instruments until discovering sampling and synthesis in the summer of 1998. Focusing his productions on mood and emotion, creating atmospheres and almost soundtrack-like pieces attracted the attention of local independent filmmakers for whom he crafted soundtracks. One of which, Perpetual Transience was nominated for an ATOM award. However, the allure of the groove proved irresistible.

Landing his first club DJ residency at 18 (as soon as it was legal), he helped shape and sharpen the nightlife in the ancient island paradise of Tasmania, Australia. He held residencies at all major clubs and bars in the state before spreading his wings for the mainland.

Since then he has performed live shows locally and interstate, expanded his musical horizons and released music across several labels. His debut release on Barbecue Records in 2017 charted at #18 in the Traxsource techno charts. He continues playing regularly at clubs and bars interstate and all over Melbourne with venues such as Workshop, Loop, Sloth Bar, Blue Diamond, Lumia, Club23, and Rainbow Serpent Festival’s famed theme camps and a monthly slot on Kiss FM. You may see him playing as himself or perhaps his more funk-fiendish house-obsessed alter-ego Greg Kopf.

His sets are sonic novels; weaving the crowd through a storyline in which each person on the dance floor is a protagonist, narrated by the music. Sam’s signature sound is unmistakable but he’s never afraid to venture off the beaten path into new dimensions, when the energy is right. Hypnotic grooves, foundation-shaking bass lines, ethereal melodies and searing synth lines are all at home in his selections. His sound has been described as if “machines wrote the soundtrack to the apocalypse”, as well as “a waking dream-state”.

Nasty, serene, brooding and angelic aren’t often associated with one another; but that’s just what Sam does best. While it’s true he has been breaking new ground in the infinite universe of music for many years now, it is only a mere taste of things to come.
