YUNG DUMB Records and Model Future present Wade Galaxy. A collaboration between Toronto-based AZARI, Butr, and vocalist Jeremy Glenn. The trifecta comes forward with an EP that will bring you through a modular soundscape of love, lust, and distrust inside the hypercube. The A-Side is a hazy fusion of R&B and slowed electro, accompanied by Jeremy Glenn's ethereal vocals. The B-Side provides a room shaking cerebral 2-step remix of 'Phaze' by James Bangura, and fade off with a higher octane version of 'Hypercube' dubbed 'Surrogate Mix', as we exit directly into the future

20 minute workout, Garden of Grass, Ballin' Jack, Boogie, Disco, Twelve Inch ALL VINYL set at ANdy Pool Hall, 11pm-12:30am to get the party going! This set contains some twelves I have been searching for for a while, including Stephen Encinas Disco Illusion, Anumberofnames Sharivari, Aleem Release Yourself, West Coast Poplock Ronnie Hudson, Gaston We Came to Take Control, T.S. Monk Bon Bon Vie and some other gems and favourites I stuffed in my crate for the night. It is not an airtight mix, but if you have played on the rig at Andy Poolhall recently you will know. Also, it's hard to mix when the decks have a pair of CDJ1000's in between. It's a good thing I have long arms. ;) Thanks to Caff for having me out, Barbi for being awesome and all the rock solid staff for taking care of us.

DOUBLE - CAPTAIN OF HER HEART (FATNECK REWORK)

There are some parties where you play and they bring you validation. Your invitation to spin at them says a lot about your taste, your selection, your pedigree, skill, etc. The Goods in Montreal, Canada is one of those parties. It is hosted by QC icons Andy Williams and Scott C and, regarding musical taste, they bring no one but the best to come and spin with them. I know because I had made the 6 hour T-Dot to Montreal trek many a time just to attend their party simply because I KNEW the music, deejays, crowd and vibe would be on point.

And even though we had all long become friends, I was still blown away, terrified, ecstatic and humbled when they asked me to spin with them this past November. I never really needed to worry though. The night was destined to be a magical one before my VIA train ever left the station in Toronto on its journey to Mount Real. Here's my set from the night. Enjoy.
