@e_leven  is a London-based DJ/producer who has started making a name for himself in the chaotic and noisy modern hard techno scene by releasing tracks on well-respected labels such as 24H Music, Dead End, Laburnum, Coup, and other independent labels. His music can be recognised by the dreamy atmospheres acting as a background to 90's rave synths and heavy hitting rolling kicks. He has also received excellent feedback and support from artists such as Amelie Lens, Shlomo, Drumcomplex, Varya Karpova, Wallis and many more.

He currently holds a monthly residency at Aaja Deptford and cannot wait for events to re start so that he can truly express himself and his sound on a dancefloor.

For our 118 Episode we are hosting DJ Eks.
Dj Eks was born in Switzerland in 1975.
In 1980, and thanks to his older brother, he discovered the world of music, with groups like The Cure, Depeche Mode, Souxsie and the Banshees, Bauhaus and others. He has been passionate about hip-hop culture since 1986. In the late 80s and early 90s, his other brother often went to London where he participated in raves. He brought Dj Eks his first mixtape - breakbeat and drum'n'bass. DJ Eks went to his first rave in 1992 and then discovered the world of clubbing. In 1993, following a car accident, he started mixing and bought his first pair of Technics SL1200 turntables.
He started out playing hardcore and gabber, then fell into acid techno and a range of other genres which he still loves.
Today he mainly plays acidcore, mental tekno, tribe, rave and industrial techno.
In 2020 he founded his label Obscur Antism Records
