Label boss A.B makes a welcome return alongside new talent Lone Raver, with the pair following up on their previous Stamina smash 'Faster Than Light Speed' / 'Never Too Late (Wake Me Up)'. Similarly themed on the Yin Yang front, the duo set alight the A-side with trance euphoria galore in the breakdown, but this time sandwiched between much electronic experimental dance floor madness! Tribal beats, laser synths, groovy bass... it's a fiesta of all freeform can be, pairing the ultra uplifting with a dose of heavy hitting hardcore. Quite literally as the title suggest, 'Heaven & Earth', in one track! Flipping it over and the boys return to big kick territory as 'So Good' takes you to the underground; 909 drums, frenetic synths, and acid madness all lead to a trip in a time-machine breakdown as a distinctly old skool theme takes charge! Think bouncy pianos, breakbeats and big kicks and you know it's a rollercoaster ride wrapped up in one track. Our 73rd offering definitely packs it all in! The Rookie returns with his trademark style - pure rolling energetic techy freeform all the way - wrapped up in one monster EP! Kicking the proceedings off is 'Mindless', an absolute underground club roller peppered with Q&A fx and synth noises, percussive and punishing bass stabs, grimy leads and a killer vocal hook. One hell of a massive riff and breakdown bombs the whole tune back into the realms of freeform euphoria as it kicks off with a pure trance energy. If you like your 'form on the hard NRG side with lashings of tech influence, this one is for you. Flipping it up n' over for 'Take Me' and the energy levels remain high but the groove switches things up and nods directly to freeform's close association with hard dance. Offbeat bass bounces things along to another mega hard trance selection in the break, with more absolute euphoric fire as things kick off on the drop! Two solid dancefloor killer cuts to add to The Rookie's already impressive Stamina catalogue collection.

Today the Morph Harder Podcast goes international, all the way to the far east (from my humble English perspective anyway). This months guest slot is taken up by the wonderful and talented human that is Aki, all the way from Japan. Aki is based in Tokyo and i first came across his work through participation in the Remix Everything Video Game Edition charity album project, where his track Hideaki Shimizu - Old & Gebol (Aki's Hardcore Remix) was voted no.1 by the artists involved. It is killer and I featured it on last month's episode, so go check it out and along with how to buy the album and support the project. 

Myself and M-Rei are about to embark on an Asian adventure in October travelling to Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan in three weeks, so it only seemed fitting to represent music from that splendid and far away continent.

This is going to be an episode of come crazy and varied beats from across the globe all in the hard music sphere, and most increasing in intensity... sounds good to me, although i would say that, you should judge for yourselves.
