baby vouithu is Nellinathan’s DJing and event curating alias. He collects and digs music from various genres such as electro, jungle, dnb, idm, rap, techno and bass music. His DJ sets are explicit, dirty and ravey and he uses a musical language that brings different influences together by transcending traditional boundaries. With the collective SOORIYAN, baby vouithu, together with his friends, aims to empower and celebrate the variety of South Asian creativity in music and arts, by reclaiming how diasporic identities are portrayed and understood.
