Electronic music’s newest enigma who goes by the moniker of Farukon is a Self-taught multi-talented producer who is at the fulcrum of an evolving Dub Step scene. Farukon is a very uniquely wired musician who isn’t afraid to break the rules and push the boundaries of our perception with his deeply layered and well-crafted production. Born in Kenosha Wisconsin and raised in Kirksville Missouri, he also spent a few years in Nigeria before packing up and moving to conquer the Florida Bass Scene. His drive, focus, and tenacity will lead him to become a relentless and emerging force in the independent circuit. Music is the vehicle by which he expresses himself. He makes music that draws from his experiences and by using his musical acumen he articulates stories, emotions, and shared perspectives that will connect with audiences across the spectrum through his intricate melodies and syncopated rhythms. Farukon combines various unique and experimental elements from dubstep and dabbles in other EDM genres such as trap, future bass, and RnB. He uses his understanding of dark chords and sounds to create Dubstep-centered fusions that are still firmly stitched together by some of the scariest emotive undertones. Farukon cites several genres across the spectrum as pivotal influences in his music. This all culminates in Farukon producing an enjoyable, and adrenaline-filled musical experience that is authentic and unique.
