We tested this at many floors and dozen of people asking : who what is this ?! This is Michael Reinboths secret weapon and remix of the month ! Goya - Juju & Jordash Remix - you may say it s for the balearic moments in life. And yes, you re right! The guys from Benelux are anyway hot at the moment with their Detroit meets Balearic style on Philpot or their remix for Boohgaloo Zoo. Yeah another winner and fantastic baleraric meets house journey. Yeah! Your Bed - Penner & Muder Remix - a well working piano house remix, that goes round and round and ...if you know their album on Sasse's Mood imperium, or their other works and remixes and youll know where they coming from and going to...: boom bang bass boom! Love Me - Good Guy Mikesh And Filburt Remix - our favorite - feels like a good friend you haven t seen for a long time. They have had so nice and ohsogood releases on Permanent Vacation or Tensnakess label Mirau, so the two are both good guys. Wide Awake - Lila Bungalow Remix - a melodic, unagitated remix by a promising band from Erfurt. Chambers - Boy Talk Remix - with their lucent remix these talking dolphins from Leipzig lead you through a park of mirage. Goya - Shahrokh Dini the Iran-Germany matador house the floor another and another time.

Good guy mikesh & filburt - milk & honey ep Leipzig based electronic duo Good Guy Mikesh & Filburt are currently seeing their stocks rise with acclaimed releases on Mirau, Permanent Vacation and now Liebe*Detail Spezial. 'Milk & Honey' comes in two great versions from the enigmatic pair, along with two very special remixes from Ireland's hot export and deep thinker John Daly. A1: good guy mikesh & filburt - milk & honey (original) 'Milk & Honey' is a stand out song that refuses to fit into any current trends, and simply exists as a haunting, moody and dramatic slice of pop electronic house. Catchy, low slung and raw, the chunky bassline-led beats are topped of with contrasting delicate synth layers and ethereal passages that make the track very unique indeed. J.M.F is a joint venture consisting of Dresdens Jacob Korn and Leipzigs Good Guy Mikesh & Filburt with both of them throwing in their special secret powers: the analog house feeling and the big bass drum from Jacob and the great melodies and a certain fluffiness from Mikesh and Filburt. Together they howled with the coyotes deep down in the notorious uncanny valley and created two sparkling tracks Philip Dolphia check out the bossy flute and At The Ranch. Lauer (from Artwo Mwambe and Tuff City Kids fame, who just released his ace debut album on Running Back) took a big sip of firewater for his remix and scalps At The Ranch into a raw romantic tearjerker, Elektro meets Rimini Style.

The 10th Palms & Flamingos´ release comes from Jan Ketel.
After a collaboration release with Click | Click on the great Chicago House label Cajual Jan is back with a four-track EP (incl. two remixes) on Palms & Flamingos.

For the title track 'Drop it Low' he teamed up with the vocalists Onosizo (Walking Large) & Lil'Ann.
This track shows Jan´s roots and his love for Hip Hop music. It´s a slower house-jam with huge pop-appeal, a big bassline and the catchy vocals by Ono & Anne.

The 2nd track 'Forcefield' is hypnotic techhouse tune with a darker atmosphere. As a featuring for this track, Jan brought Leana Mc Shane from California in. She already did her debut on Kassette Records.

As a bonus Filburt (Compost/ Permanent Vacation/ O*RS) and Mudegg (Blackpearl Records) contribute two cool remixes of the title track.
Filburt created a nice and groovy Deep House tune, while Mudegg went the funky & discoish way.

When JIMMI HENDRIK and MARIA Die RUHE met it was immediately clear they needed to collaborate on a piece of music. In the final curation of 2020 we raise a glass to Takis Shelter with a diverse collection of jams showcasing everything from blissed out jazz, funked up house, rich balearic trips and a little sprinkle of joy inducing disco. These come from a selection of our good friends across the planet who have kindly contributed their tracks to make this release happen, a big thanks to the time and effort that everybody has put into this.
100% of the proceeds from this compilation will go directly to Takis Shelter. As someone who has his roots in the music scene, Takis turned his attention from partying all night whilst running his own nightclub, to well, partying all night with more than 450 of dogs and cats that he saved from landfills and rubbish dumps in Crete. After giving up everything he owned to open his shelter, he nearly had to give up the refuge but donations made it possible for him to go on.
This compilation is a nod to all the incredible, selfless work that Takis has put into caring for these animals and will go towards ensuring they are looked after, fed and can eventually find their way to a new loving home. To find out more and donate directly go to takisshelter.org/

VA-Solidarity is a Weapon

These are strange times and it looks like the whole world is going crazy. At least that's how we feel when we open the newspaper and follow the daily news.
All of us noticed the news about Nazi networks in police and military, mostly called „Einzelfälle“ with fear and concern. Halle and Hanau shook us. To watch “Querdenker” and Nazis walking hand in hand while the protests for the victims of Hanau where declined made us want to throw up and listening to politicians talking about the threat from leftwing-radicals just made us wonder. Even the orange president talked about the Antifa-myth which is complete bullshit. So what does Antifa mean? A short term for Antifascist.
Since we are no longer involved in political activism, we thought we would at least make a small contribution and support activists in their struggle.

So we started asking our friends if they wanted to contribute a track. Everyone jumped right on the bandwagon, which made us super happy and in a few weeks we even had more tracks than initially planned.
So you can expect some weird ambient-spheres, stompy club hymns, dolphin-trance, classic piano-house and even some dub-grooves.

We hope you enjoy the music as much as we do.

So who is “Rote Hilfe E.V.” and why does the money made with this compilation goes to them? This organisation puts the main focus on the financial and legal support of left activists who face repression in Germany. Besides, the “Rote Hilfe E.V.” helps antifascists who are searching for political refuge in Germany. We think that's a good cause which we would like to support. So your money is well spent! ;)
