Love Me - Good Guy Mikesh And Filburt Remix - our favorite - feels like a good friend you haven t seen for a long time. They have had so nice and ohsogood releases on Permanent Vacation or Tensnakess label Mirau, so the two are both good guys. Wide Awake - Lila Bungalow Remix - a melodic, unagitated remix by a promising band from Erfurt. Chambers - Boy Talk Remix - with their lucent remix these talking dolphins from Leipzig lead you through a park of mirage. Goya - Shahrokh Dini the Iran-Germany matador house the floor another and another time.

Good guy mikesh & filburt - milk & honey ep Leipzig based electronic duo Good Guy Mikesh & Filburt are currently seeing their stocks rise with acclaimed releases on Mirau, Permanent Vacation and now Liebe*Detail Spezial. 'Milk & Honey' comes in two great versions from the enigmatic pair, along with two very special remixes from Ireland's hot export and deep thinker John Daly. A1: good guy mikesh & filburt - milk & honey (original) 'Milk & Honey' is a stand out song that refuses to fit into any current trends, and simply exists as a haunting, moody and dramatic slice of pop electronic house. Catchy, low slung and raw, the chunky bassline-led beats are topped of with contrasting delicate synth layers and ethereal passages that make the track very unique indeed. J.M.F is a joint venture consisting of Dresdens Jacob Korn and Leipzigs Good Guy Mikesh & Filburt with both of them throwing in their special secret powers: the analog house feeling and the big bass drum from Jacob and the great melodies and a certain fluffiness from Mikesh and Filburt. Together they howled with the coyotes deep down in the notorious uncanny valley and created two sparkling tracks Philip Dolphia check out the bossy flute and At The Ranch. Lauer (from Artwo Mwambe and Tuff City Kids fame, who just released his ace debut album on Running Back) took a big sip of firewater for his remix and scalps At The Ranch into a raw romantic tearjerker, Elektro meets Rimini Style.

Here it is. The 8th release from Leipzig vinyl imprint O*RS. A various artist ep compiled by label owner Filburt. It comes as a five-tracker with works from Ranko, Andreas Techer, Mille & Hirsch, Donnie Dubson and Filburt himself. Donnie Dubson and Ranko are leaving the clime of house. It's more Postdubstep infused Hip Hop. However Mille & Hirsch bringing back the good old house vibe with the „Lounge 44 Version“ of their track „My Mind“. The hit of the ep. Filburt boils the crowd down with his impression of a „Morning Blossom“ and Andreas Techer „Wake(s) Up“ to start the afterhour at the end of the ep.

As the former owner of the renowned Leipzig vinyl dealer Freezone Records and the proprietor of the enthusiast label ORS, he was or is active at all possible junctions of the scene. The experience behind the decks and in the periphery has been honing his sense for the perfect club track for years. Filburt - wasted most of my life DJing in night clubs (snippet)

Riotvan no. 10 – what a nice jubilee! And a perfect catalogue number to take a look at our back catalogue up to now and at the same time look ahead at the things we might cast in vinyl at some point in the future. Riotvan isn’t just a reflection, but also an inherent part and impulse in the electronic music scene of Leipzig. Gathering the inner circle of the Riotvan cosmos on one record for the first time, thus, seemed like a very logical step.

So RVN010 is the first so-called Various Artists in our roster. At the same time it marks the beginning of a new series, which will regularly lead our close and new friends on the field from now on.

This issue features: Good Guy Mikesh, who buffs up tapered sound sequences into the little slo house gem “Sparkles”. This is also the first new track on Mikesh’s release account ever since his EP “Year of The Horse”, which came out on Riotvan as well.
Then there is the hyper-dynamic “Marque Di Yard” by routine sidestepper Panthera Krause, which ogles with broken beats and should whet the appetite for his second Riotvan EP, due to be released soon. With “Perlenkette”, Filburt drops his first solo work in the label history – a tenderly whispered track from alien spheres with hit potential not to be underestimated.
Afterwards, Jennifer Touch, who recently released a project with Keinemusik’s own Adam Port on Pets Recordings, returns to her solo roots, delivering sleepwalking synth pop melancholia. Here, too, a new artist EP on Riotvan is in the making. If there’s one label which can be ascribed a certain like-mindedness towards Riotvan, it’s undoubtedly Permanent Vacation. Therefore, their puppet master Benjamin Fröhlich rounds up this compilation with “Star Fox”, which steers a middle course between direct and self-forgotten house bounce. Finally, on “Walking In Melbourne” Llewellyn plays out those house sketches which might be a bit too stringent for his alter ego Lake People, obviously not without infusing a fathomless deepness to its floor aptitude.
