Over a decade in the making becoming one of the enduring local djs in Los Angeles, Nathan Phillips AKA DJ N8 is undoubtedly a musical poet when he's gracing the decks, filling the dance floors from massives to clubs all over Southern California and across the nation.

Influenced at a young age, Nathan Phillips was drawn to the L.A. electronic scene by fellow affiliates and long time friends. After hearing electronic music, it opened a new mind set for Nathan; from this moment on he expanded his creativity and passion through the music. 

Now, as his career is evolving; he is working hard in the studio and has been releasing different genres of original work and remixing for major producers on a variety of labels. Nathan is responsible for forming collaborations and crews, such as the infamous Da Elephunks, Showdown and Funk Potion Ent.  

With hundreds of bookings throughout the years; he still rocks the crowds, young and old, from generation to generation, and from small events to massive festivals bringing you all the funk to make you break and shake all night long. The sets have more intensity and more diversity pleasing every open ear on the dance floor in our beloved electronic music scene.

Biography:

Jawoo a.k.a. Marinko Vujević was born 25th of June, 1989 in Mostar, Bosnia &amp; Herzegovina. His first experience with a wide audience was when he was about 14 years old. By that time he started working as a DJ in the clubs in his hometown. As a beginner he played a wide sound palette of genres from techno, tech house, progressive house and even pop, R'n'B and hip-hop. Later he switched to electronic music with his DJ sets, but with production also when he's have about 17. Nowadays playing mostly techno and tech house, he tries to focus on the deeper and more melodious sounds.&#13;

In august 13th, 2008 he's open his first digital label Stanch Records. For Stanch Records are released DJ names such as Mark Broom, Steve Lawler, Wehbba, Lutzenkirchen, Sante, Robert Babicz, Par Grindvik, Nick Olivetti, Mihalis Safras, Mark Henning, Carlo Lio, Valentino Kanzyani, Pig &amp; Dan.&#13;

Jawoo music is released on labels worldwide, some of them are labels such as Black Hole Recordings and Pacha Recordings. Some of his work you are have chance to see in top 100 of sales on the largest music stores for DJs in the world. His tracks are played and supported by major DJ's such as Markus Schulz, Paul Oakenfold, Bobina, D-Formation, Cristian Varela and much more majors DJ's of electronic scene. Jawoo is started project of DJ mixes "Experiment". This project of DJ mixes are played on many popular radio stations worldwide, some of them are Black Hole Radio and Proton Radio. His show "Experiment" is played in "Bedroom Bedlam" radio show at Proton Radio. "The competition exposed the likes of Steve Gerrard and James Zabiela."&#13;
