Year 1997, the underground techno parties of czech sound systems Mayapur, Technical Support and Cirkus Alien, had influenced his musical and intellectual attitude. Being interested in a lot in electronic dance music he took a two-month course of Djing for beginners in 1999, where he actually touched decks and dj mixer for the first time. After realising that he does not want to be just a party-goer but wants to take an active part in organising parties, he bought a dj setup and, according to his clear idea and musical taste, selects vinyls and begins to develop his own sound, which he describes as "music with soul" or "colorful techno”. His involvement in Prague’s now non-existent record store TSP vinyl shop also contributed to his musical inspiration.
In 2000, Dj Ghandi, together with his closest friends, founded Spiritual Sound System, which is still very active nowadays, and has a long list of past successful parties all over the Czech Republic. Spiritual sound system originated from the love of music and the friendship of the people who make up this sound system. Those two important principles are reflected in the vibe of the Spiritual parties.
Another important moment came in 2008, when he co-founded the regular radio show Acidelika on Prague’s Radio 1 station, which in 2011 transforms into regular club parties and an outdoor festival hosting lots of foreign guests. Dj Ghandi feels very honored to play alongside his many role-model djs and producers such as Neil Landstrumm, Dapayk, Bruno Pronsato, Radioactive man, Jerome Hill, Paul Birken, Ben Pest, Lukes Anger, Tobias Schmidt, Dave Tarrida and others.
After 21 years of active djing, Dj Ghandi remains faithful to playing from records despite all the music technology advancements. He's never focused on one musical genre, so you can hear him playing styles such as oldschool acid techno, minimal, tech-house, but also raw breaks and slow oldschool electro.

He has always enjoyed and found it more meaningful to play varied music that has soul and a story behind it. He remembers doing his first event 20 years ago with the Spiritual sound system, how some people were annoyed to the point of outrage that he was playing slowly. At that time, the soundsystems were monotonous, hard and fast techno with a few dnb sounds in between. He didn't care at all and stuck to his taste and direction, no matter what the result. Today he is very happy for that. "People should do things the way they feel and not conform to trends." DJ Gándhí concludes.

Raw Rave 09 - Dj Ghándí

This is my tribe tekno set from festival Letní zvěř. I have played dark progressive set on the psychedelic stage and than went to play to the second stage. I did not know what I am gonna play as it was called "multigenre stage", but when I saw my friends from Opidum soundsystem playing tekno I played this improvised set and recorded it :-)So not a single mix in this set was prepared and I was just throwing tracks..

"Later on, as the frequency of his use on K increased, Dr. Lilly began having contact with
another alien intelligence agency, which he called (SSI), short for Solid State Intelligence.
SSI was a supercomputer-like entity, much in the same techno-mystical vein as Philip K.
Dick's VALIS. But unlike VALIS, SSI was of a malevolent nature, at odds with ECCO. SSI's
apparent goal was to conquer and dominate all biological life forms on Earth. To combat
SSI, ECCO enlisted Lilly in this archetypal battle of good against evil, charging him with the
mission of alerting the world at large to these solid state beings of evil intent. To further
confirm the dual existences of these two opposing alien intelligence networks, Lilly was
given a sign, and message, in the autumn of 1974. Flying into Los Angeles International
Airport (LAX), Dr. Lilly saw the comet Kahoutek out of the southern sky. Momentarily the
comet grew brighter. At this point a message was laser-beamed into Lilly's mind, which
said: "We are Solid State Intelligence and we are going to demonstrate our power by
shutting down all solid state equipment to LAX."
Dr. Lilly shared his foreboding message with his wife Toni, who was seated next to him. A
few minutes later, the pilot instructed the passengers that they were being diverted to
Burbank due to a plane that had crash-landed near the runway and had knocked down
power lines, causing a power failure at the airport."
