NEUROlogical FUNKtioning

Absoloot is a DJ from the seacoast area of New Hampshire. She grew up loving many styles of music, ranging from classical to classic rock to rap and hip-hop, but once she found electronic music, she knew she'd found her sound. At age 17, she went to her first "rave" at the Asylum nightclub in western Massachusetts, and she instantly became hooked on the art of dancing. She also fell in love with the incredibly tight community of ravers from New England, and she knew she had to prove that there was more to the rave scene than what people (negatively) imagined. Having witnessed the Rave Act in 2003 and the poor rep that then shadowed the rave scene, she spent nearly 20 years dancing away nights at clubs, raves, and festivals helping to educate on what it means to truly rave-- no drugs needed.
 
It wasn't until 2017, when a friend let her borrow some equipment, that Absoloot started DJing. Coming from a family of by-ear musicians, and having a natural rhythm for dancing, Absoloot picked up DJing quite naturally as she taught herself how to use the equipment. Her love for mixing Drum ‘n Bass instantly got her popularity as a budding DJ, and she is very passionate about putting every mix together with great love and immense care. Absoloot always aims to take her listeners and her dancers on a journey into her emotions by sharing her music, often digging deep into heavy basslines along with seamlessly mixed melodies. I am a music addict...I LOVE music!!!  If it sounds good, I will listen to it.  Mostly I listen to EDM of all types: house, techno, dance, dubstep, drum and bass, hardstyle, trance, minimal, ambient, etc etc etc  I have played the guitar and played around with piano for years. I am currently creating my own sounds/tracks...
