About DJNick_We

Nick Wülfert was born in Bern in 1992.
Early on he was drawn to all kinds of music. He gained his first musical experience in the field of classical music and was promoted by his parents with piano and later with cello lessons.

Only much later did he find the way to electronic music, more precisely to "house" and "tech house" music, partly due to the influence of the local club scene.
It was not long before the enthusiasm for electronic music and its scene became a real passion.

A few years later Nick began to think intensely about mixing DJ sets himself and according to his own preferences.
In 2010 the way was paved with the purchase of the first own equipment and there followed countless hours of practice, experimentation and occasionally smaller public appearances.

Despite some difficulties in getting a hearing in the saturated DJ market, Nick never lost his enthusiasm and joy in music and developed his own recognizable style.

Over the years Nick became more and more interested in the much harder techno music and in this way got to know many new fans of the scene.

In 2018, Nick launched the “Machete meets Nick” project together with Marc Krieg. This cooperation and the common know-how resulted in a small music studio in Jegenstorf / BE, in which Marc and Nick invested a lot of work.
Many good DJ sets and recordings emerged from the fully equipped techno studio.

This collaboration broke up again in early 2020.
Since then Nick Wülfert has been alone with his new DJ name ("DJNick_We") and will continue to work on his passion for techno.

He is currently spending a lot of time in the studio, preferably together with his wife, who is also a DJ (Marion K). He is looking for inspiration and good music almost every day.

Über DJNick_We

Nick Wülfert wurde 1992 in Bern geboren.
Früh fühlte er sich von jeglicher Musik angezogen. Seine ersten musikalischen Erfahrungen sammelte er im Bereich der klassischen Musik und wurde von seinen Eltern mit Klavier- und später mit Violoncellounterricht musikalisch gefördert.

Erst viel später fand er – unter anderem durch den Einfluss der lokalen Club-Szene – langsam den Weg zur elektronischen Musik, präziser zur „House“- und „Tech House“-Musik.
Es dauerte nicht lange, und aus der Begeisterung für die elektronische Musik und deren Szene wurde eine richtige Leidenschaft.

Einige Jahre später begann sich Nick intensiv mit dem Gedanken zu befassen, selbst und nach den eigenen Vorlieben, DJ-Sets zu mixen.
2010 war mit der Anschaffung des ersten eigenen Equipments der Weg geebnet und es folgten unzählige Stunden mit üben, experimentieren und gelegentlich kleinere öffentliche Auftritte.

Trotz einiger Schwierigkeiten, sich im gesättigten DJ-Markt Gehör zu verschaffen, verlor Nick niemals den Elan und die Freude an der Musik und entwickelte seinen eigenen erkennbaren Stil.

Über die Jahre begann Nick sich immer mehr für die wesentlich härtere Techno Musik zu interessieren und lernte auf diesem Weg viele neue Anhänger der Szene kennen.

2018 rief Nick zusammen mit Marc Krieg das Projekt „Machete meets Nick“ ins Leben. Aus dieser Zusammenarbeit und dem gemeinsamen Know-How entstand in Jegenstorf/BE ein eigenes kleines Musik-Studio, in dessen Aufbau Marc und Nick viel Arbeit investierten.
Aus dem komplett eingerichteten Techno-Studio gingen viele gute DJ-Sets und Recordings hervor.

Anfang 2020 löste sich diese Zusammenarbeit wieder auf.
Nick Wülfert ist seitdem mit seinem neuen DJ-Namen („DJNick_We“) alleine aktiv und wird weiterhin an seiner Leidenschaft Techno arbeiten.

Aktuell verbringt er viel Zeit im Studio, am liebsten zusammen mit seiner auch als DJ aktiven Frau (Marion K). Beinahe täglich ist er auf der Suche nach Inspiration und guter Musik.

Man wird  noch viel von ihm hören.

BFSN (or Biffson) is an electronic music DJ from Bern (Switzerland)
His mixes are storytellers, peppered with warm, groovy and progressive soundscapes. Perfect choice for dancefloors, but also for on the go.
Since 2021, he has been a resident DJ for 5 years at the well-known label Saturo Sounds.
Since 2023, he has been a resident DJ at Hanz Soundz from Switzerland

BFSN (oder Biffson) , internationaler DJ aus Bern (Schweiz)
Seine Mixes sind Storytellers, gespickt mit warmen, groovigen und progressiven Klanglandschaften. Für Dancefloors, aber auch perfekt für unterwegs.
Seit 2021  bis Ende 2025 Resident beim renomierten Label Saturo Sounds.
Seit 2023 Resident beim Schweizer Musikkollektiv Hanz Soundz.

Ich liebe und lebe die Techno-Kultur.

Seit 6 Jahren spiele ich elektronische Musik, die aber schon seit 2000 eine nicht weg zu denkende Leidenschaft in meinem Leben ist.

Als Käpt Flanger tummle ich mich gerne in den Genre: Progressivehouse, Techhouse, Deephouse und Downtempo herum.

Katz & Muus ist ein Seitenprojekt von mir (Flanger) und meiner Frau (LogArithmic)  zusammen. Wir konzentrieren uns auf deepen Downtempo, der mächtig, schön von unten ballert, aber trotzdem tanzbar nach vorne treibt.
Wir spielen aber auch gerne mal Melodichouse und Deeohouse.

I have been playing electronic music for 4 years now, but since 2000 it is an essential passion in my life.

As Käptn Flanger I like to play Progressivhouse, Techhouse, Deephouse and Downtempo.

Katz & Muus is a side project where I (Flanger) and my wife (LogArithmic) play together. Our focus is more on powerful, deep downtempo, but still danceable. But we also like to play Melodichouse and Deephouse.
