DJ Genesis is an established breakbeat DJ and producer based in Central Florida, renowned for his dynamic remixes and contributions to the Florida breaks scene. Emerging from Lakeland in the 1990s, he was strategically positioned between Tampa and Orlando, two hubs of electronic dance music, which significantly influenced his musical journey .  

Known for his energetic performances and innovative remixes, DJ Genesis has released tracks under nine different record labels, showcasing his versatility and commitment to the craft . His music spans genres such as Breakbeats, House, and Drum and Bass, with notable tracks like “Fading Lights,” “Test Track,” and “Press Rewind” .  

Beyond his remix work, DJ Genesis has curated the “Florida Breaks Classics” series, a collection of mixes that highlight the vibrant breakbeat culture of Florida. These compilations have been well-received on platforms like SoundCloud and YouTube, further solidifying his reputation in the electronic music community.
