As requested, here's my set from the Queen Vic at the Tidyland Weekender at Pontins Southport on 7th July! You know what to expect from me by now... I decided to get out a few of my favourite bounce tunes from the last couple of years with a few harder bits thrown in towards the end. Had loads of great feedback from you all about this set and it was ace to see so many of you on the dancefloor despite it being so early in the day, as well as extremely sweaty in the Vic! REJUVENATION (Out of Control) 11-11-23 - BASS JUMPER SET

Hi all,

I've wanted to do this mix for such a long time and i've finally got my arse in gear and done something about it, i've done lots of Bouncy Hard House Classics mixes before, even Hard Trance ones... but i've never done a full on Hard House Classics one (The main music i fell in love with all those years ago that changed my life)  

This mix has no anthems or sing-a-long moments.. just pure filthy, popping, hoover driven Hard House of what i consider the best of the best for that paticular sound!

I hope you all enjoy it as much as i have had mixing it and even hunting for the tracks in the first place was a real joy as it brought back so many good memories.

As promised, a recording of my set in the Secret Party Room at this year's Tidy 30 Weekender! This was easily one of the best (if not THE best) Tidy Weekenders I've ever attended... it worked a treat at its new home in Great Yarmouth and out of all the sets I've ever played at the Weekenders this one is probably my favourite. I decided to get the happy tunes out for this one since it was Saturday night, and it was amazing to see that Secret Party room fill up within 5 minutes of opening! Thanks to all of you who were on the dancefloor for this for making it such a memorable one. Hopefully we'll all be going back to Great Yarmouth for many more weekenders to come!

TVNDRA – DON’T TRY THIS [Bass Militia]

The Militia calls once again, and our seasoned soldier TVNDRA answers with firepower. Marking his 8th campaign with the label, his 12th weapon overall, and his 4th feature release, TVNDRA stands tall as one of our most battle-hardened producers. Known for unleashing devastating rounds of dubstep-infused 4x4, reinforced with heavy kicks and stab-driven melodies, he returns to the frontlines with a fresh tactic.

On DON’T TRY THIS, TVNDRA sticks to his tried-and-tested mutant 4x4 assault in the first drop before pulling a tactical switch on the second, deploying an experimental, Berlin-inspired techno formation that drags the battlefield into a darker, more industrial territory. It’s a daring manoeuvre, executed with precision, and proof of his unrelenting evolution as a Bass Militia commander.

To reinforce the mission, three more heavyweights step up for remix duties:

⚔️ PLUVIO – A decorated veteran of Bass Militia, Pluvio returns to the field carrying the banners of Symbiotik Records and Audio Swarm. Widely regarded as one of the pioneers of the Neuro Breaks movement, his arsenal of percussive weaponry and intricate Neuro design has humbled many in combat. His remix of DON’T TRY THIS is another calculated strike of surgical precision, a reminder why few dare to face him in a drum showdown. Today, we also raise a toast to the soldier himself, happy birthday Pluvio and honour his continued service on the frontlines.

⚔️ KIZZA – A rising warlord whose arrival just two months ago with the Synaptic Overload EP and his brutal Yolked remix has already shaken the battleground. KIZZA fights with relentless energy, his basslines strike like artillery fire, and his melodies carve chaos into every frontline he touches. In a time where many soldiers imitate one another, KIZZA’s vision cuts through like a blade, original, ruthless, and impossible to ignore. His remix of DON’T TRY THIS is pure carnage, another reminder that he’s a dangerous new commander in the Bass Militia ranks.

⚔️ KEPTEK – A fresh recruit making her Bass Militia debut, Keptek storms onto the battlefield armed with a hybrid arsenal of hardtek and drum & bass. Her weaponry blends pounding 4-to-the-floor kicks, rolling breakbeats, and razor-edged vocal chops, creating a crossfire of unrelenting energy. Known for turning every dancefloor she commands into a warzone, Keptek’s remix is a high-octane bombardment that announces her arrival to the Militia with authority.
