In 2019 Oliver Dollar made his Classic Music Company debut with the incredible 14-track collection Another Day Another Dollar. The album was an adventurous artistic statement, showing off a wider breadth and depth of sound than ever before, and was received with critical acclaim. Now three of the stand out tracks from the album get the remix treatment from some of Classic’s nearest and dearest. Opening the release, Classic founder Luke Solomon and the sparkling Honey Dijon come together to remix one of the stand out cuts, ‘John’s Church’. Originally produced in collaboration with German producer Nils Ohrmann, the pair intensify the steamy, gospel-tinged track, lacing in atmospheric keys and tension-building drops that take the dancefloor number to new dimensions. Up next, Snatch records founder Riva Starr drops his remix of ‘Crusader’, featuring Jason Hodges. Illustrating Riva’s signature dancefloor focused style, this transformative remix moves away from the stripped-back original, with a rolling bass and deep, swelling pads. Finally, Kelly G. delivers his Defected Dub of ‘The Delta’ to round off the release, taking the dreamy piano house of the vocal-led original and making it club friendly, with a bassline you can’t help but groove to.

Defected regular OFFAIAH returns to the imprint with ‘Private Show’, his latest dose of expansive, club-focussed house, after storming hits ‘Soldier’, ‘Work It Out’ and ‘Push Pull’ ignited dancefloors across the globe. Kicking off with his Re-Edit, where a deep wandering bassline, swelling pads and tension building drops provide a groove-led backdrop to the seductive vocal. Up next, NYC’s Moon Rocket steps up to remix, taking a stripped-back approach with industrial synth stabs and ambient breaks, married with a deepened vocal. Finally, OFFAIAH’s original version rounds off the release, where we see the producer flexing his musical muscles by exploring new sounds and tech-leaning influences, producing a cut undoubtedly destined for main room raving. Doing what he does best, ‘Private Show’ really shows how OFFAIAH has been honing his production abilities, as he provides a range of stellar mixes that cater for a range of dancefloor dispositions.

DJ Grouse started his career in 1989, in a local radio with a mix-show that was on the air three times a week. In a time that the underground scene was centered in acid house and the world charts were dominated by pop artists like Madonna, Pet Shop Boys or the Communards, Grouse was including in his mix-shows tracks by Nina Hagen, Bauhaus, Sigue-Sigue Sputnik and The Clash, among others. From there to his first residence in club was just a question of months. In this first club, called Surprise, he had the chance of deepen his knowledge in different kinds of music such has the new beat from Belgium, the American house, the British indie or the bands from the late 70s like: Roxy Music, Madness, Patty Smith or David Bowie. In 1992 he stars his first residence in Lisbon in the Network club, where he performed only two days a week. Working in this club he needed only three weeks to get several other residences in some of the best clubs of the capital, among them the Alfândega Bar and, the back then famous,Zona +, and also be invited to perform in other clubs like Absoluto, Bote, Viking. Etc.¦ In the following years Grouse played all over the country in some of the best national clubs, including Pacha (in Ofir) and Kadoc (in Algarve) and also in some of the best events. In 2004 Dj Grouse gives his first steps into production with the track Red which he saw immediately released in the Dance Club cd. That same year Grouse, in partnership with Katorz (vocals) and the musician J. Lee, saw their music Feelin Magic being acknowledged by one of the biggest DJs in the world, the American Roger Sanchez. His music led him to win the contest for new producers promoted by Roger Sanchez radio show in New York: Release Yourself.
Currently, DJ Grouse is playing all over Portugal, and in some countries like Spain, Denmark, Angola and Bulgaria.
