In addition to the sensations the record produces, one can say that the esthetic binding chains have been broken. This also means enough freedom to write a Carnival song! Or to seize Pará’s tecnobrega and make it communicate with an accordion. Or still to recreate a house-carimbó (Compositor da Ralé), paying tribute to one of its icons, Master Verequete.
The record is completed by reinterpretations of Fortaleza, remembering classic characters from the local nightlife and shops, in addition to Cego Oliveira’s presence controlling the beats, one of the most important violin players and popular poets from Ceará. Na Porta dos Cabares -  DJ Guga de Castro y su Iracema Hot Sound

Compositor da Rale is a mixing of house music, crazy horns, carimbó and guitarrada ( tradicional music/Rhythm from Pará, a brazilian state in the North of Brazil). The name this track was inspired in a famous singer of roots Carimbó, Master Verequete. 
Compositor da Rale takes guitarrada to clubland with lovely, happy, hazy horns.

This track was inspired by Tecnobrega music ( eletronic music from Pará), forró (tradicional music from northeast of Brazil) and also tango ( tradicional music from Argentina). The result was a tecnobrega-ska-tango!

Who is Guga de Castro?
Crossing one frontier after another, forming a collection of sounds and exploring distinct sonorities that represents a piece of every place is not an easy task. 
And yet it is what DJ Guga de Castro has been doing for the past fifteen years. Promoting a revolution on dance floors all over the country by mixing samba, soul, bossa, groove, carimbo, guitarrada, tecnobrega, latin music and street sounds on a electronic set. 
Guga has been sharing the pick-ups with his friend DJ Rodrigo Fuser on the brazilian/global party call " Farra na Casa Alheia", that happens on Iracema Beach, in Fortaleza, northeast of Brazil, for about 8 years!
