What began with Random Waveforms' inspired take on Sunny Pulse evolved into a complete remix collection, featuring additional remarkable versions by Piotr Figiel, Marboc, and FVKS. Each artist brings their unique perspective to the journey from darker repetitive patterns to warm atmospheric soundscapes that defined the original EP.

UMAMI stems from a need to rediscover the fundamental taste, in this case in music. It’s a word that is not translated into different languages, it is international, like the artists here from all over the world. Umami is the unique flavour that encompasses them all, sweet, sour, bitter, salty that encompasses perfection... which is what one feels when listening to music with a quality research, a mix of emotions that are created, leading the listener to moments of ecstasy.

Not long after the release of the original EP, https://soundcloud.com/randomwaveforms approached me saying that he wanted to remix "Sunny Pulse." He liked the original and had some ideas for his interpretation. This unusual and surprising request was immediately accepted by me. :) I had thoughts that if 
I liked his work, I would put the track on my SoundCloud as a free download.

I took the remix from https://soundcloud.com/randomwaveforms to https://soundcloud.com/piotrfigiel's mastering services. He immediately said that actually he could remix one of the tracks as well and that I should release a remix pack. It definitely didn't cross my mind to do that, but I went with the idea all the way. :)

Once the idea of a remix pack came out, https://soundcloud.com/piotrfigiel said, "Let's write to https://soundcloud.com/marboc and ask him to remix a track." I didn't hesitate even for a minute. https://soundcloud.com/marboc is one of those underrated gems here in Poland, in my opinion. Having him on this EP is a wonderful feeling.

Quantum (Marboc Remix)

The last remix comes from https://soundcloud.com/fvks96. I've been playing his tracks at every gig - his rather dark and very rich sounds always work on the dance floor. In my mind, his style suits the original version of the "Quantum" track very well. When I asked him for a remix, I had a good feeling that he would choose exactly this track to play around with. :)
