Music Is A Universal Language Mix

This is a set I prepared specially for this edition of Transition Festival 2025. I went into my psychedelic archives and pulled out this 1999-2002 retro set. Lots of the music I used to play, non-melodic psychedelic trance. Post Goa era, going parallel to the Full On times, this was the music that you could usually hear at the alternative stages, where I definitely belonged. I hope you find joy visiting the sounds of another era, my take on minimalistic and murky atmospheres.

DJ Fluoelf - Transition 2025 (psy retro set 1999-2002)

Woo-Dog Recordings presents MINDGROOVE with a live set featuring tracks from his upcoming EP and VA on the label, including tracks from his previous albums and singles played live at Spirit Gust, Magica Festival, and Electric Rainbow Festival. MINDGROOVE is the psychedelic trance project of Indian artist Manthan Gupta. His journey into psytrance began in 2016, drawn in by its hypnotic rhythms and otherworldly sounds. He started producing music in 2020, debuting with the EP Mephisto's Nightmare on Dream Crew Records, followed by releases on compilations from labels like Sonektar Records and Ancient Druids.  Mindgroove blends elements of forest, darkpsy, and other psychedelic subgenres to craft boundary-pushing soundscapes. He also produces under the project Neuroattack, signed to Iono Records, Regroup, 360feature, Geomagnetic, and Hitech Dojo, exploring psychill, progressive, and hitech styles.  Beyond producing, Manthan runs a psytrance academy, sharing DJ and production knowledge, and creates preset and sample packs for darkpsy producers.

For a moment, the surrounding noises began to warp and breathe with a motion of suction and expansion. The pattern emerging inbetween the back of my eyes and the incoming light grew more detailed every heartbeat. Before i could comprehend it's shape and distinct pulsating features, everything suddenly changed. There came this satisfying but frightening Euler's disc sound. The steady and slow rhythmic humming quickly accelerated into this all-encompassing, ear-shattering cosmic shriek. My brain felt like it was pierced all the way to it's core. As if the juice of singularity injected into it. I fell through a portal into a new realm. It felt like true peace and infinity out there. Was it this, the old religions tried to teach? Or a completely new, purely physical orgasmic wave i'm riding on? I don't know. But the sound was good.
