In my home state, there exists a city called New Orleans. Crescent City is the musical dedication to one of my favorite cities in the world. This body of work is the much anticipated & expanded sequel to the original, retaining the smooth jazz, gospel & soul sounds of New Orleans. Each track but the first is named after a street in New Orleans, truly embodying the culture and the vibe of the Crescent City.

Kev has selected, mixed, scratched and juggled his way through 30 of his favourite tracks from the previous Brazilian Beats compilations. In addition to the main 50 minute mix the release also includes a bonus remix and a bonus re-edit from Kev. This album is the first European compilation entirely dedicated to Funk Carioca, or Baille Funk.

The album features the godfather of 'Funk' DJ Marlboro, who runs the Funk scene in Rio with his daily radio show that broadcasts to hundreds of thousands. Other amazing artists included in this compilation are Tati Quebra Barraco, MC Vanessinha, Bonde do Tigro and XXX-rated tunes from Proibido.
