Musically here... I just play what I feel and like, like many. Translating _it_ into the best sound I could do at the moment, hoping to let out some of grooves and vibes boiling my head constantly. Might be messy, bumpy, puzzling, but this is what it is. By design. Crystal Ripples continues my "Impressionism in Music" series. I love to induce and provoke, rather than impose. All for creative listening experience, so we collab, co-create.... Thank you.

Fender Stratocaster finger picking and (slightly) distorted basslines and twangs. Tones are using Line 6 hardware Pod XT. Post Line6 and IK Multimedia Amplitube.  Korg Synths, including Gadget tool Brussels, which solemnly soloing at 0:50. All synths sounds transitions achieved by playing physical knobs on my Arturia controller. All 37 lines of guitars, perc, synth total are assembled in Ableton Live 9 and mastered with IK Multimedia.

Ok, now this is certainly one for the macabre!  It was inspired by a two story house I saw when I was a very young boy in Hawaii.  The roof of the house had been burned off and I could see the inside. There was a stairway that had been burned halfway. The word I had heard was that a father and child had died trying to get out. I never forgot the smell or the scene.  And from that scene comes this tale.... 

 I hope that you can have some fun with this spooky song!

The envelope nears the edge after another awesome track from Dan L. brings me to the brink of lyrical madness... ;-).... so dark a memory from my childhood summons forth this tale of mischief, mayhem, malfeasance, mystery, (murder?) and perhaps at the very least malpractice.. . In childhood we were watching thru the stars with my school bud. Exiting atmosphere, riding deep and cold vacuum (and I don't mean a vacuum cleaner :) ... mentally expanding our presence to far outer-space. Until  rock comes up to your throat. Thinking, - How huge the whole thing is?

Stargaze is dedicated to great artist and friend Gary Miles, Anomon @gary-courtland-miles

Musically, keep pursue Impressionism in music. Might be to complex to some or too simple to others, not the point. Some shorter strokes or deep long waves. With all one intention - let you co-create while listen.

Huge gratitude to my friend Caemon Rigby for reaching out and instantly inspiring me to make a song with him. He put massive amounts of love into the track and I think it came out so fresh and so clean! 

The song lyrics were partially inspired by woman who, many years ago, looked at me with sultry eyes and then whispered in my ears, "shiva shakti," after having a long sexy dance together. I think I must have also been thinking about Osho Ashram when writing these lyrics. haha.
