After a 20 year hiatus, LA-based artist Jeremy Kennedy marks her return to the hazardous electronic playground of outbound, beat-driven sound with the telling new moniker, dj again.

Though the tag quickly suggests many narratives threatening to create their own feedback loops, Kennedy embraces them, allowing the dj again production style to empty out the escapism at the range that you want both in reflection and present tense with a designer lo-fi aesthetic that only the moaning highlights of a half-broken, semi-affordable PA system could muse upon.

For para by para, she presents a blend of newly constructed tracks combined with essential sips of unreleased material from the artist’s ghost-of-EDM-past as a disjunctive two-channel composition where sound meets event-specific projection, in collaboration with John Dawson and Alee Peoples.

More than leftfield leftovers, this curated collection captures the heavily-syncopated post-trap drum lines and computer noise of the existing genre, with a harder brutalist push toward the future soundsystem. A self-designed remix of identity.

Beglitched is an absurdist audio theatre series based on the classic American television sitcom fantasy series Bewitched (1964-1972). 

It is about an ordinary mortal man (Sarrin) who marries (Damantha), who unbeknownst to him, is a witch. His desire to lead the life of a typical suburban couple is disrupted at every turn by brutal humor and an essentially non-rational storyline, in a non-sensical household, backdropped by a non-stop soundtrack of experimental electronic sounds.

While the cast of characters may sound familiar, their personalities are 3 waning moons away from the original.

Featuring a cast of artists from across the US, recorded remotely by various means: Los Angeles (CA), Bloomington (IN), Gardena (CA), Owensboro (KY) and Oakland (CA). 2020.
