Angels of the Mystic Path is a tribute to the three phases of the Total Solar Eclipse in Leo that took place August 1st, 2008. It is also the name astrologers and spiritualists gave this celestial occurrence, which they viewed as a universal “system reboot” meant to bring to fruition all past problems that have held everyone back from where they need to be, and realigning us with what truly matters to each of us as individuals.

This three CD set is comprised mostly of new releases from July, August & September of 2008, (Deep House, Tech House, Hard Tech) accented midway with a short revisit to older tracks, particularly early nineties classics.

Disc 3 of 3 is named Transfiguration... "Transfiguration - Early morning dew sparkles as sunlight floods the field. The dawning of a new day; a changing of the guard; the joy after passing through the dark night of the soul; nearing the end of a struggle is a symbol of TRANSFIGURATION."

I've finally started digitizing some of my classic Remark cassette tapes. The series, titled "Remarkassettes", features historical sets from the 1990s recorded at various clubs and from my former radio show on WPRK 91.5 FM. I've attempted to remaster these nostalgic sets as best I could, boosting the sound quality and cleaning up the tracks a bit. Hopefully you'll still enjoy the grooves despite their "vintage" sound...apologies for the clicks, static, and feedback on some of these recordings, but that's what happens after 20 years of sitting in the vaults!

This was recorded on November 5th 1999, the night before an unforgettable road trip to see Dionne Warwick in Buffalo, New York. The intention was a casual & upbeat mix to keep myself, as well as the likes of "Sketchy Spiller, Jamie from Blackstones and Lobster Jesus" (the trip instigator and Dionne's biggest fan), entertained as we drove from Portland to Niagara Falls and ultimately to Buffalo where we were guests of Ms. Warwick.
