Welcome to Shadow League. 
Combining Dutch drum’n’bass behemoths Black Sun Empire with UK global rap & bass pioneers Virus Syndicate to create a supergroup so much more than the sum of its parts. 
Shadow League is its own gargantuan beast, a dark sinister force that is at once irresistible, irrepressible and irreversible. 

Set to release on Blackout Music the project’s fearsome debut album ‘Cheat Code’ is a multi-genre masterpiece, straddling all corners of bass music with a through line of savage synths, pounding percussion and vicious vocal delivery. 

Set to kick into gear in the middle of 2025, with full release in September - Shadow League isn’t just a vehicle for global veneration, but worldwide audio domination - with live performances set to destroy everything in their path. 

This project is not simply a statement of intent; it is a commandeering of the senses.

Our yearly instalment of the Antimatter series is here, and this year is packed with some of the most exciting new talent emerging out of the Soundcloud primordial soup. 

Opening up the release is an ITL frequent-flyer, Archaea with the talents of SamSHB and Temple in support to deliver some of the sharpest engineering on the imprint. 

Following on is a special one - Ton Dune & FLOONK featuring Kaylee is a Dutch & American trans-Atlantic collaboration which we're really excited to get out into the world. A vocal led anthem with a powerful kick in the instrumental - this one does damage. 

Another returning member of the ITL crew is next with Ethera. This Berliner has been making some serious moves in the last year, and so we welcome back with open arms to drop Usually. We love a spooky vocal - keep an eye on this talented writer.  

Insane sets & elite baguettes, LoveTheEND has taken the time out of his busy schedule of being a don to write Iced Out for the series. Ju is a great friend and with tracks like this he's keeping up the momentum of releasing great music time after time. 

The quinquennial track on this year's flagship is Black Sky from producers Osprey & It's Tricky. Osprey has been moving from strength to strength recently and It's Tricky has been on our mind a while - we felt like Black Sky encapsulates the energy that the Antimatter project tries to convey.

Ethera - Usually

They say that far beyond the city walls, in an abandoned server room buried in a glass desert, stands an ancient bass lamp. Touch its circular button and a djinn bursts out—formed not of smoke and fire, but of spring-loaded sub-bass. His name is D.Komin, and his tracks shout so loud that the sand beneath the microchips begins to dance.

The first wish he grants anyone brave enough to press play is the velvet laugh of the low end: it leaps as if trying to reach orbit, each jump punching a crater in your chest. The second wish is a whirl of hi-hats, whistling between steel dunes like couriers spreading word of the coming dawn. The third is a volley of bright snares, clapping louder than camel hooves when the rhythm caravan changes course.

Yet every wish has its price: the djinn demands freedom on the dance floor. Release him and the club shatters into mirror shards, reflecting a thousand tiny desert suns. Keep him captive and the tracks will circle your mind like an endless mirage until you fish, from the sand-roar, the final spark of the sub-storm where the D.Komin seal glows.

Djinn arrives on DEEPNAS not as a mere release, but as a pact between human and bass: three minutes of courage, and you gain a personal guardian of the groove. So break the safety seals, rub the lamp, and watch as the jump-up djinn writes a golden tag on every down-beat. The truth is simple: anyone who believes in the miracles of the bass desert will be carried by the djinn straight to the catharsis of the dance floor.
