(Jim Funk) is currently residing in Panama City Beach, Fl and enjoys all genre's of music. Born James E Murphy in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida on September 17, 1984, Jim Funk, so named by Dustin C member of Lab Man Records after his crazy style of funky music merged with today's best bass and top 40 styles. Bringing the tablelist back into the industry by beat juggling and scratching BATTLE style. . Always playing the new top and underground HEAT! He has been professionally producing since the age of 18 (2003) and has DJ'd in clubs like Club La Vela, The Swamp, Rock Star, NightTown, House of Blues, Club LA, Spinnaker Beach Club,District Night Club, Festivals and local bars around the United States. To the date he continues to produce and play all style music and is influenced by such artist as Bassnectar and Flosstradamus. Curently he is on Gigabeat Records and Gigabeat nights record label with remixes on Nolabeat records. He is also the founder and CEO of Bass-A-holix Anonymous Ent.  To date he is charting one of the highest in beatport in Breakbeats and Trap. He is one of the most well rounded DJ's continuing to bring the funk merging noise to music. Non Stop To The Top.

Just someone who has a love for Breaks (almost all breaks but specifically Florida and Louisiana Breaks and Vocal Breaks)...Electro...Trance...Drum&Bass...Dub (the original Dub that was around the Tampa scene from the 90's and early 2000's...not the new Dub that these kids think is the shit)...Trip-Hop...E-Hop...and a few others. Was HEAVILY involved (to put it lightly...no pun intended but pun intended) in the Tampa/Orlando scene from the late 80's thru around 2007 or so...until the scene changed or was forced to change...but this shit is in my blood!!! I guess like they say...Blood in...Blood out!!! Had an iconic and well known house in South Tampa that was called "The House On Stilts"...it was the only house in the subdivision that was up on stilts like a beach house. And if you were in the scene...odds are you've swung thru at some point for one or more of the parties...Lol!!! If so...hit me up and tell me about it...I love hearing the stories because MAN O' FUCKING MAN...THOSE WERE THE DAYS!!! Best times of my life...and I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat...I mean breakbeat!!!
