We are very pleased to have the Lithuanian Space Disco Masters “Downtown Party Network” doing a very special 10” release on Dirt Crew. Mostly known for their brilliant releases on “Best Kept Secret” and “Silence Music” the Vilnius based Saulty and Bradka have proven over the years to be experts in producing haunted Electro and Disco influenced Deep House tracks.

The A-side track “In The Air” is a glorious ecstatic dance floor burner with it’s fragile female vocal sample and funky bass line it takes us right back to some of the best early nineties House moments.

The B-side features the darker and more electroide “Call On Me” that could easily be taken from a mid 80’s cosmic album. It has this laid back Italo groove and long stretching pads and chords that just put you under a spell. The reverbs and space like bendings in this track are very haunting. The bass is groovy and funky, a real new funk electro track.

Hope you enjoy playing these two jams out as much as we do!

Dj Jk8 - better known as JK8 (1993, Rome) is an Italian house producer and DJ. He used "Jk8" as nickname on videogames,
so when he started to play music, he decided to call himself "Dj Jk8 - Jk8 Deejay", and in the end only "JK8".
In 2005 he goes to MediaWorld to buy something technologic, and casually he throws a glance
on a music-editing program for PC. JK8 remembers an old pc music-editor he played when he was a child. So, he decides to buy this pc software to make music.
Initially his songs were dirty and without experience. Day by day, however, after so many remixes and his own productions, more and more catchy, he decides to open an official web site to be known (even if Dj Jk8 uploads his songs on his Youtube channel).
In 2007 he gets in the M2o community (an Italian disco-radio), making a his own blog (s2on space), but actually the most attended blog is Dj Jk8's Youtube Channel: <a href="http://www.youtube.com/DjJk8" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.youtube.com/DjJk8</a>.
Now Dj Jk8 is better known in Europe (thanks to his Youtube pubblic channel), expecially in Italy (his mother country) and in Denmark (thanks to "Specific Radio", that
contacted him to pubblicize a his remix). Facebook, MySpace, Youtube and - now - SoundCloud, are helping JK8 to become famous!
