This remix was done sometime between '97 - '98, it's another one of those joints where I just found a random accapella to throw over a beat I was making at the time.  During this time I was still sampling from one of my favorite albums by Tom Scott, I think I've sampled every song from that album at one point in time, and the drums are very obviously from KRS One's "Black Cop" which I've used a few times as well.   Of course the instrumental version of this featured on my beat tape "Basement Beatz From Da East ( https://djjoeyjoe.bandcamp.com/track/honeysuckle-flow )" for those that are interested in hearing it.
