This was a 3 hour set I played at After Hour Power - the long running legendary after hours party at The Palace (now Avalon) in Hollywood Los Angeles. Good times with good friends. 

It was this recording that got me my residency at The Gallery at Turnmills. When Danny the promoter heard it he asked me to leave my residency at MOS and join the Gallery - which of course I did overnight. Ironic therefore that 3 years later the Gallery would move to MOS!

Nothing comes close to Niceto and the Magic clubbers - and this night was beyond special. Goosebumps thinking about it.............

If you like it hard and fast then check out what I was playing back in 1996. I still have some old tapes to dig out of my mum's attic where I think there are some of my old mixes dating back to 93/94 but for now this is the earliest recording I have. Such an amazing era - when Final Frontier at Club UK in London was the epicentre of my life (which it had been since 94). From the perspective of being a clubber on the dance floor - nothing since has ever come close. Everything I play today draws inspiration from my heroes of that era - Billy Nasty, Gayle San, DJ Dag, CJ Bolland, Sven Vath, Carl Cox, Jeff Mills, Laurent Garnier, Dino Psaras, Tin Tin. Universe parties were where it was at. RIP Paul Shurey.

John is a massive satchel. I have the misfortune of sharing an office with him. He keeps insisting that Perfecto Fluoro is a Goa trance label that doesn’t release 140 but guess what? When my back is turned he goes and sneaks a 140 track into the schedule. Honestly – I have never met a more hypocritical bell end in all my life. Still, if John’s style of music floats your boat and you enjoyed his recent productions (Commander Tom “Are am Eye” remix, JOC “Stresstest” remix, Empirion “Narcotic Influence” remix or his single “Shine” etc etc) then I guess you may like this one. 

When I asked John to describe the sound of this record he said “it sounds the same as all my other shit but this time it has the added bonus of people having sex all the way through it”. 

In true egotistical style there are no remixes.
