As an ambitious, talented, and rising artist, Egypt-based DJ, and producer Shiha is making an impression on the music scene performing sets that will never be forgotten. Shiha’s passion for music started 20 years ago when he started to perform and was inspired by many influential DJs and renowned events that were taking place.

Shiha’s distinctive and iconic sound ranging from House to Deep House, Minimal, Tech to Breaks has inspired many and entertained even more. Living and working hard through the industry with the concept of ‘earning your stripes’, success has already led Shiha to perform at many impressive events alongside many musical legends such as Sebastien Leger, Manno le Tough, Eelke Kleijn to name just a few.

With previous releases on labels such as Manual Records, Capital Heaven, Frisky Records, Movement Recordings, Inkfish, Magik Muzik, Black Hole Recordings, and Nueva to name just a few, you can certainly hear the explosive energy that Shiha’s foundations are laid upon. 2021 being the birth of Shiha’s very own imprint label Clubbing Purposes, this will be the platform for most of Shiha’s future releases.	

With Shiha’s eclectic and very broad musical knowledge and background, Shiha is leading the charge with explosive and memorable performances. From the US to Europe, festivals to clubs, House to Breaks – the future is set to be a crazy year for Shiha, watch this story.

HALSTON of NEURAL STIMULUS RECORDINGS (NSR) / https://halston.club / BOOKINGS: Judd512@comcast.net  I’ve been a Disc Jockey now since 1992, starting at age 15 when I bought my first Technics SL-1200MK2 turntable and DJ mixer along with starting to buy vinyl records just as the rave parties were starting to come about in The San Francisco Bay Area and of course in the U.K., Canada and Europe. Back then I started to buy and read Mixmag, Muzik Magazine along with DJ Mag for years. Since I have amassed an extensive vinyl (7000+) & CD (500+) collection, along with a huge collection of high quality digital audio files over the years in my computer. I play mostly progressive house, deep house, and techno music, along with sets of industrial & new wave and ambient music, which were my musical interests prior to the rave parties of the 90’s. I’ve loved electronic music since I was young from Duran Duran to Depeche Mode to New Order to Ministry, Skinny Puppy, FRONT 242, Siouxsie & The Banshees, to DJs Sasha & John Digweed, Tiga, Jeno & Garth, and The Hardkiss Brothers (Scott, Robbie & Gavin Hardkiss) the list is endless. Today I still love to use vinyl records in my sets along with digital files & CDs. As an audio engineer from SAE Expression College I prefer to use vinyl records or AIFF/WAV files when I am putting out an 320kpbs MP3 recording of a set that I’m DJing so as to keep the best sound quality. I love to craft a journey using music for others to enjoy along with introducing brand new artists and songs within my sets.  –HALSTON aka DJJUDD
