Simple to Complex / Differentiation to unity : Opposing forces supporting each other with the potential to interact and co-evolve at different levels of reality.

The music I'm creating, both techno and ambient, is the result of many inner battles, discoveries, joys and sorrows, it's the best way we have as artists to get our emotions out right? After all that's the essence of any form of Art: Creating to give energy back to the world, to share, to be excited or emotional, together.

Markantonio returns to his label AnalyticTrail with a two-track techno release infused with dark atmosphere and swelling intensity.
One of Italy’s most iconic artists, Markantonio inspired a generation when he helped put the Naples techno scene on the map over two decades ago. In addition to playing DJ sets at clubs and festivals all over the world, he has also released music on many of the most influential record labels.
Recently he has featured on imprints such as Paco Osuna’s Mindshake, Spartaque's Codex and Ramon Tapia's Say What?, but he also has many classic tracks on labels ranging from Adam Beyer's Drumcode to UMEK's 1605.
This time he is back on his own label AnalyticTrail, which has been a regular outlet for Markantonio along with releasing music from other artists including Joseph Capriati, Wehbba and Luigi Madonna.
“Shout” opens the release with its rolling bassline and suspense building pads, while the pounding kick drum and rattling hi-hats provide a driving energy. Second on the EP comes the trippy melody of “The Light", which has a subtle euphoria underpinned by hard-hitting percussion.

Newcomer to KD RAW, but certainly no newcomer to the scene is Belgium techno veteran Tom Hades. With his Misam EP he delivers a collection of behemoths like no other.

On opening duties and namesake of the EP is Misam, a hypnotising stabbing lead combined with percussion drenched in analog flavour. 

Phact brings us a syncopated stab line and disco stabs, which brings about a mesmerising wall of sound, surely delivering the goods. 

Sarin is driving up the tension from the get go. This is one of those tracks that tests its listener endurance and keeps the audience longing for that inevitable roar of sound. Once unleashed, it’s a sure release of ecstasy. 

A worthy addition to the ever growing RAW sound.

Hailing from Serres, Greece, young producers Bleur & MB1 have a fourteen-year friendship behind them, and it’s obviously translated to a deep, easy chemistry in the studio. Following the inclusion of their belter single “Humans” on the last @@secondstateaudio SUM compilation, the duo now releases this stormy EP, pulling the listener into darker terrain.

“Shock” does exactly that: jolts the listener into a hypnotic trance with a roof-raising combination of metallic, springy synths, a thwacking kick, and explosive FX. The mood is more restrained on “Belfast”, adding a layer of foreboding to the relatively spare opening passage, which eventually veers into trippy, spooky territory thanks to eerie pads and droney synth blurts. “NL Industry”, meanwhile, adds interest to grey low end with bleepy keys and engine revs that become gradually louder and sharper as the track progresses, culminating in a disorienting, thumping delirium.

This EP cements their status as stars in the making. It’s an exciting sign of what’s to come from this dynamic duo.
