Laurence ‘Citizenn’ Blake’s music has always referenced the classic spirit of house music. On his earliest releases he mastered the art of putting vintage soulful house vocals through a contemporary filter, while his <em>Human Interfaces</em> LP on Crosstown Rebels struck a flawless balance between smooth deep house and modern dancefloor fare. 

This Friday Blake brings this sound to Farringdon alongside Solardo and Andrea Oliva in Room One. Ahead of his appearance he’s delivered an exclusive fabric Presents Promo Mix, where he demonstrated his flair for club-ready sounds with a string of fresh and pumping deep house cuts.

Back in September, I was invited to come to WKDU Philadelphia and DJ on the Hot Mix with Chris B. This is a wonderful DJ Mix show on a fantastic radio station at Drexel University, in the heart of Philadelphia. 

USB's and Vinyl. Highlights on the mix include Queen Latifah, Kerri Chandler, Orlando Voorn and some secret edits of mine. On radio shows I like to play eclectic, and showcase records I may not get a chance to play in clubs. Enjoy the mix!! Chris
