AC is a well-known versatile MC from the UK Drum n Bass scene. He was awarded Best Breakthrough MC at the 2018 Drum & bass Awards and has sold over 50,000 copies of his hiphop cds on the streets of the UK. He has had top 10 videos on MTV Base, Channel U / AKA, B4U, Zee Music and Britasia. He has had his hiphop songs played on 1xtra,  Radio 1, Kiss fm, Choice fm and has had top 10s on the BBC Asian network chart. In 2012 he was awarded and IKWRO True Honour award for his song 'True Story' and performed in the modern opera "Pop'pea" as a rapping Praetorian Guard of Emperor Nero, with Carl Barat of the Libertines and Marc Almond of Softcell.

From BBC Maida Vale live sessions to worldwide tours, performing on the same bill as artists like Wu-tang Clan, Capone and Noreaga, Common, Akala, The Outlawz, Sway, Jay Sean, Juggy D, Chip, N-dubz, Klashnekoff, Panjabi mc, Neyo, Marques Houston, AC has been an active presence in music for years.  

This led him into the world of teaching and passing on his knowledge at the Academy of Contemporary Music, on the first ever Rap & MC degree course in the UK, tutoring and mentoring students in the various stage craft and performance techniques, and songwriting.


In the Drum n Bass scene he has mceed for djs like: Brockie, Andy C, SS, Mickey Finn, Ego Trippin, Grooverider, Fabio, Mampi Swift, Nu Elementz, Nicky Blackmarket, Kenny Ken, Hedex, Bou, Jumpin Jack Frost, Logan D, Heist, Majistrate, Twisted Individual, Culture Shock, Frankee, Turno, Friction, Shy fx, Bryan G etc, performing in numerous clubs in the UK and abroad, and at festivals like Glastonbury, Boomtown, Nass etc.

AC has been releasing full vocal drum n bass songs recently with a variety of top producers and has been racking up streams in the hundreds of thousands on Spotify. His tracks 'For Certain' and 'Drop the Knife' were featured by UKF and more is yet to come!
