I had been going through my recent techno and acid tracks and then friends showed up. This was a dj set recorded at a private party in Austin, TX on Christmas Eve 2025.  Starts of low tempo breaks and flows into house and trancey vibes for about 3 hrs.  (Recorded live).

Holy Daze  '25

Kevin Rise started DJing in Colorado and Hawaii way back in the 90s in the early rave scene.  He doesn't really stick to one genre, playing house, techno, breaks, pop, and even some rock depending on the vibe.

Kevin Rise started DJing in the Honolulu, Denver, and Los Angeles rave scene of the 90s.  While primarily playing warehouses in those days, he sometimes DJ'd at Access Nightclub in Honolulu and even opened for the band My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult for their Honolulu show at Groove Nightclub.  With early influences including new wave and industrial, he certainly enjoys performing darker sets with techno, bass house, and drum and bass, its the uplifting sets that get everyone going that he loves so much..

Most of the time Kevin Rise performances are upbeat tech and acidy house though, with a touch of nostalgia thrown in representing his love of all kinds of music,

In 2021 he started the Groove Is The Park outdoor dance party series in Austin, Texas and is a resident of that event.  But also plays venues around the Austin, Texas area and occasionally in Hawaii.

He'd love to branch out play some new spots and new cities, or go back to some of those old cities where he got a start so long ago.
