Biography New and up coming artist CHEWLEE aka CHEWDAWG,  brings a whole new style to DFW. He started listening to rap, hip hop, and R&B at an early age, but he noticed that he just couldn’t get enough of it. He realized very young that he was a triple threat He could rap, dance, and sing. He then began to enter into talent shows and other various projects. He knew immediately that his calling in life was to be an entertainer. In high school he got with a couple of friends and decided to make group called Lil Allstars (RAP NAME WAS A-TRAIN). They performed mostly at a community recreation centers in a contest called Battle Jams. Carrying an undefeated title for a certain amount of time skrilla and the Lil Allstars grew apart, although this was a bitter sweet time this gave him the avenue to find his voice. Fate then took a turn for the best and he met a producer from Pleasant Grove named Young Throwed. Together they did local birthday parties Dallas and car shows in Houston (CHANGED NAME TO SKRILLA). He shared the stage with such artist as Paul Wall, Slim Thug, Microphone Killa, and Mike Jones etc. He inspires to one day make collaborations with those very talented rappers that also reside in his hometown of Texas. Every time you see Skrilla-V he has a pen and a pad, or his blackberry, trying to capture all of the fiyah lyrics that burn within him everyday, so he says, He is dedicated, motivated, and very dependable with his music. With the inspiration that drives him everyday to be able to protect and provide for his family
