Carrying on with the momentum from DJ Panthr's excellent Source Drift EP, we here at Sound Transitions are proud to present a wildly reimagined soundscape in the form of a heavy hitting Remix EP. With remixes from Selfhood, Quelaan, Dpcld, and more, the EP takes material from DJ Panthr's bag of tricks and spins it into something else entirely.

Starting with Selfhood's slow building, emotional interpretation of "Liquid Light" with its stuttering drums and laser focused melodies to the head-spinning rhythms and rumbling low end of the Pinz & Pelz remix of "Source Drift" to the delicate deep house stylings of Memphis Glass to the abstract, wonked out IDM of 88b's version of " Shadow Realm" and finally arriving at Dpcld's featherweight, aqueous drum and bass version of "Liquid Light" the EP is a thorough journey through all of the dark corners of dance music.

Each producer brings their own unique voice and style to the already great tracks that DJ Panthr provided. They take the originals to new, unknown places in and around the dance floor. These remixes keep you on your toes and keep a smile on your face.

Detroit Ghettotech meets Chicago Footwork meets UK Bass in this amalgamation of styles and sounds. Dirty lyrics and hard-hitting beats shows yet again how varied the Juke/Footwork sound can be. 

Jonny Megabyte (who has previously released via Juke Bounce Werk and Juke Trax) has arrived at Good Street. The 4/4 sound of Juke and off-kilter percussion of Footwork, combined with a heavy bass and laid-back melodies. 

Six Foe is a Detroit Ghettotech legend - collabing with DJ Godfather and Mr De' back in the early 2000s, and releasing via Databass. His distinction vocal talent brings an engaging, human feel to the tracks.
