[X-CLA 01] Sana Logic & DJ 乾紗凪 - MI・SE・TE

Last weekend on November 9th during the MTV Düsseldorf Music Week 2024 the second edition of Akiba Club took place.
This second installment didn't have a specific theme tied to it like the Halloween edition from last year. Instead we celebrated Japanese Anime and Club music of all styles and every DJ played some of their own favorites.

As the final DJ of the night I wasn't sure if I should go all out or let the crowd chill till the end.
In the end I kinda did both with my set featuring an almost equal amount of UK Hardcore and smooth Drum'n'Bass - kicking things off with high energy J-Core tracks and ending with more chill Drum'n'Bass.
This Shortcut Edition is missing some tracks of the Drum'n'Bass part due the set being too long for SoundCloud otherwise, I might play those tracks in future sets again though!

At this point a big thanks to Club MTV Düsseldorf, the Akiba Club and DoKomi crew and of course all visitors.
It sure was a great event and I hope we can return again next year!

Happy (and Funky) New Year 2025 everyone!
Late with this upload but at the end of 2024 I performed a set for Anikura Unison 2025, the yearly Anison New Years music event spanning over multiple days as part of Pon de Beats.
I've decided to go with a Makina and Funkot (as it's New Years tradition for me) hybrid set this time around and had lots of fun performing this set live using a CDJ 3000 setup.
This recording might sound a little different than on stream since it was re-recoreded using my usual Traktor setup for better mixing and audio quality.

On that note, shoutouts to Shiz for hosting the recording session, kaz for VJing during my set for the stream, and all other Pon de Beats members for helping.
And special thanks to Joe K. for making one of my dreams a reality and asking NICHO to remix the first opening from Hanasaku Iroha, I couldn't ask for a better track to end my final set of 2024 on.
