‘Memories of Teenage Bliss’ kick starts this 4 track EP as it means to go on. Sampling RnB talent ‘Summer Walker’, these sensual vocals perfectly compliment the bouncy, euro influenced bassline. Providing a distinct listening experience where down-tempo RnB harmonises perfectly and joins forces with modern day dance music.

Setting the scene for a love story on the dance floor with vocals from ‘Tinashe’ is, ‘Left Me For The Night’. Written with emotion and empathy at the forefront: this track emulates everything about experiencing love and infatuation on the dance floor, where eyes lock and dance moves mirror. A truly special and unforgettable experience, where two individuals become one for one night only - connected through music.

Following the recipe for this EP, ‘Selling Fantasies’ effectively portrays the feeling of being in love. It’s transient and eye-watering pads gracefully introduce emotive vocals from RnB legend Rihanna. Quickly followed by a heart-melting melody that when fused together effectively convey that sought after feeling, driving home the
message of love and is sure to have you hugging your loved ones on dark dingy dance floors.

Sending you soaring into and beyond the clouds - arriving in a world concerned with: Compassion, Mercy and Love, is the final track, ‘Eternal Love’. Starting with a subtle acid line, combined with the intimate, suggesting vocals from ‘Tink’, depicts young love expertly - where link ups and time together is spent in secret. With the addition of the uplifting pads, Guanyin’s message is is brought to life. Enlightening listeners on dance floors around the globe to turn their self-hatred into self-acceptance and cherish every moment with the people that they love.

The phrase “FOOTMAHI” was first brought to light by BFC founding member MUSHMANE of Tainui.

The story goes that the BFC were huddled up drinking a communal slab of 8% Cody’s on a bitterly cold Ōtautahi winters afternoon watching a young in-form Shaun Johnson absolutely tear the Sydney Roosters defence to shreds with his electric “footwork” - when Mushmane screamed out “LOOK AT THE FOOTMAHI” changing the course of BFC history forever all in the birthplace of The Big Fresh Collective; The Parage on 40A Richill Street, Belfast, Ōtautahi.

The Journey of Footmahi has taken us all over AOTEAROA working with & entertaining people from all walks of life that we are proud to call our Whānau ❤️‍🔥
