AFTERUS is a dynamic Canadian electronic music duo creating music that transcends boundaries and ignites emotions. I am a German trance producer. I have been producing myself since 2013 and prefer uplifting trance tracks with beautiful melodies. In 2018 my first single debut was released by Lifted Trance Music Records. Further releases followed later on D.MAX Recordings, Gert Records, #WeAreTrance and Sundance Recordings. DJs such as Vero Rhapsody, Ryui Bossen, Danny Grunow, DJ Ri3S, DJ KrissB and many others support me a lot and play my tracks in their mix-sessions. I'am very grateful for the support of my followers and friends who like and share my music.

I’m a music enthusiast. 

Music is the thing that will one day save us all, which is one of many reasons why I consider it to be important. 

Like most music enthusiasts, I used to hog people’s stereos and make them listen to what I wanted. Because of this, turning my hand to DJing in 1999 was, in retrospect, inevitable.

I started DJing on internet radio in March 2004 and on average, have put a new show online every six days or so since then. I haven’t counted exactly but I think it’s around a thousand by now.

I hate genre definitions (and go into a lot of detail on that here: https://lazarustrance.wordpress.com/2012/08/02/fifty-shades-of-blue-why-genre-does-not-matter/) but it’s fair to say that for the most part I play what’s called “trance.”

I have no interest in fame although I did once make it to 1222 in the DJ Mag chart. This is why I don’t have a logo or any kind of social media strategy.

Nowadays I have three ongoing shows:
     The Rebirth Session - These don’t broadcast anywhere but are (with occasional exceptions) my official demo mixes.
     Back From The Dead - This goes out monthly on Afterhours FM (every first Monday) and is a full-on uplifting/banging show.
     Rise Above - This goes out weekly on Discover Trance Radio (every Friday) and is the end result of me enjoying a mix at home over the previous weekend, whatever that may have turned out to be.
