Bonebrokk invites beatmaker extraordinaire Impérieux for a guest mix in this month’s 4D RUSH episode, in support of his recent excellent EP releases on Hessle Audio and Macro.

Impérieux (aka Alper Durmush) is a beatmaker extraordinaire hailing from Kircaali / Kardjali: since
antiquity a hub of mythical music, located at the crossroads of Bulgaria, Turkey and Greece. After
a string of mind-boggling releases for labels such as Pampa and Sofia Records, he released his
debut album REZIL with Macro in early 2025. That year became a break-through turning point. It's
a nice touch to see you music featured in the New York Times and nominated for the German
'Preis der Schallplattenkritik' award, but what really turned it into a crowd favourite was the
unparalleled support it received from an incredible array of leading DJ talent throughout clubs,
festivals and radio stations. Following up with the Fena EP for Hessle Audio, Impérieux kept the
pressure up, only to unleash the ferocious 'In and Out EP' mini album with Macro before the
year's end.
As a DJ he has performed across Europe, the UK and North America and played his first tour of
Japan in April 2025. His highly eclectic and irresistibly energetic sets have been celebrated at
clubs such as Tresor Berlin, Blitz Munich, Corsica Studios London, Lux Fragil Lisbon, Zukunft
Zurich and Stereo Bar Montréal. He performed mixes at HÖR, Rinse FM and more, and appeared
with B2B sets with Leon Vynehall and Stefan Goldmann at NTS and Kiosk Radio, respectively.

A little late to the game but here it is: my live recording of this year's @tarmac-festival set for @resonant_ev at Outer Rim 😊 
It was the Friday afternoon that I took over a very engaged and excited crowd at the Outer Rim stage. The sun came out just after a very rainy and stormy Thursday night. One could really feel the energy and spirit that comes with the start of a festival. And I think I could capture this exact energy in my set. So enjoy this bouncy and housy ride through old and new favourite tracks of mine! 💫
