Cycles & Spots are back with the deeper side of Minimal Techno with these 300 Wav loops pack.

The content is all entirely synthesized, no samples have been used here. The loops contain mostly percussive elements, like all kinds of rhythmic sequences besides bass-ish kick loops and chord lines.

If not any modulation is involved the loops are rather short to keep the drive and hypnotizing factor. Inside you'll find many variations which lined up turn out as evolving sequences eventually.

Different kind of synthesis have been used like FM, Resonators, specific drum synths, noise transform techniques for instance, all maintaining the needed quality.

The style is kind of smooth and groovy but if you want it more aggressive you could add a fat (side-chaining) kick to the bass loops.

An attempt to establish a relationship with the Dorian mode.
After experimenting with some borrowed chords from here and there, 
I suspect it might’ve ended up more Mixolydian instead?

Mostly the same chord progression repeated throughout — no hook or chorus — but with a few tasteful key changes and a grand finale, I’d say it’s good enough for me.

It got complicated, and never really found its legs.
Then, by chance, a new angle appeared — and from there, it didn’t take long to land on these harmonies. Nothing too complex, but it’s always a kind of journey before the pieces start to fit.

Modest, for sure — but I still find it rather pleasant.
